Wanted to wish a Happy Father's Day to Derek, Happy "Uncle's Day" to Jordan and "I'm thinking of you on this Father's Day" to Wendy.

Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's and Uncle Jordan too!!!

Happy Father's Day to all and to Uncle Jordan as well....know this will be bittersweet for Wendy, Derek and Jordan - holding you all near in heart and prayer today. :grouphug:

Wendy,

Thinking of and praying for you and your family today. . . . . . . .

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO DEREK and all the other dads out there!

On behalf of all the dads out there, I'll say thanks for the Father's Day wishes. After spending this morning at church (working in the nursery which was bittersweet because all the kids I've worked with this past year are graduating to the next class and then we attended the second hour service), we then went to visit my father-in-law's gravesite with Wendy's mom and the kids. It was super busy as some families were making an afternoon picnic, visiting family members. Now we're back home, relaxing for a brief bit before going out for a dad's day dinner at one of our favorite asian fusion bistros.

Thanks to everyone for your continued thoughts and prayers for Wendy, her mom and the rest of us. Nancy (Wendy's mom) is relaxing over the next few days in Palm Springs with Jordan's parents and other relatives. care of Jordan's chauffeur service. Now he's enjoying Westin's new Palm Desert resort (for the second time before we've even had a chance to visit) so you can expect more photos of his feet :scared1:

Wow, what a coincidence. My little brother is a Sunday school teacher and HIS class just graduated to the next level today too! He cares for the 5 and under group. He says he's really going to miss them, even though not all of them remembers his name

My siblings and I treated our dad to a dinner at Baton Rouge, and a showing of Karate Kid. That movie's REALLY good! :thumbsup2

Looking forward to Jordy's mini-tr of Palm Springs again

I'll be posting an update sometime today or maybe a few updates, but I have to go to the pool and maybe have a beer or two....I'll keep it under 11 drinks...;)

Aw, thanks Tracy.... it wasn't too hard for me but Erin still gets sensitive and a little emotional when she thinks about my dad (which is surprising to see since most of the time she's so rambunctious and powers through like a freight train...) but when we were at the cemetary, she had a hard time looking at the gravesite and talking to my dad... she misses him. However, she and Dylan had no problem running all over all the OTHER gravesites nearby... Dylan said "Erin, roll down the hill..." and she said "No, I might hit my head on the headstone like I did last time [they were there]" Ha ha ha. And then she said "how come some names are 'not usual'?" ... as she looked upon an Asian person's grave whose name was "How So". Hee hee hee. So we had a little lesson in cultural names there. Ha.

Hey Jordan! Welcome back to the land of the DIS. I've got about 20 pages to catch up on, so it may take me a while.

DJay and I both entered the restroom and were disappointed to find water and trash on the floor and water on the counters. We continued to talk as DJay moseyed on up to the urinal and I opted for more privacy and went to a stall. We continued to chat loudly about the condition of the restroom when all of a sudden we heard a toilet flush. We both went silent. I was trying hard not to laugh. I finished my business, but waited until I felt like the gentleman had left the restroom. DJay and I both were laughing...we were so busted...

I was disappointed. Djay came up with an additional rating system. One sheet of TP means a good restroom..two okay....3...etc...So this one rated a 3....

Oh I wish you would have posted this a week or so ago. James and I made a "special" trip over to this bathroom last Monday afternoon after the ladies exited the park for something else. We were sorely disappointed....it was just as you described it being back in February. TP and water on the floor. Kinda gross, and neglected by the janitorial staff. I was surprised it was your favorite bathroom, but I figured it must not have been in it's usual state of cleanliness. But it does have one thing going for it -- quiet. It's so out of the way, almost no one goes back there. So, although it was not very clean, I was able to take care of some ah, business, with no one else in the whole place, and there's definitely something to be said about that.

Did you ever check out the bathroom at the fitness center at Kidani? Now that's a bathroom!

Oh, come on....you mean I'm supposed to sit here biding my time while you get soak up rays and booze it up??? :faint: Some days life just ain't fair. :rolleyes1

(but very glad you are having some nice relaxing time ):goodvibes

Hi Jordan!! I'm so glad to see you back around the DIS! I hope you are doing OK...

Looks like you've been having some nice adventures to help pass the days!

I hope you continue down the path of healing!! :goodvibes

Thanks Amy:hug: It's good to be back.

It's going to be long road to complete healing, but the journey has begun which is good.

I am in Palm Desert (palm springs area) right now with family so today was a good day.:thumbsup2

Wait until 60 comes around...the body goes, the mind goes, but the good news is that you won't care anyway! It's all fun after 60, I promise, and kinda weird how freeing it actually feels. ::yes::

If your hair is natural (meaning silver/white) then some people treat you extra nice!! :thumbsup2 Unfortunately, others think there is no brain between the ears.:rotfl:Those folks are the most fun cuz one can play with their minds a bit and leave them thoroughly confused. Am I making any sense??? :confused3 :rotfl2:

I celebrated my 50th in London - fabulous - but your 50th in WDW is going to be one for the record books! :goodvibes

I hope to have a good time for my 50th.
