Lightning Lane question/concern

I'm sure this has been answered, but today my window opened up for next weeks trip. We go quite regularly and have never had any issues getting multi pass on the 7 day window. This morning, there is practically no availability until the earliest, 2 PM on every single day. Even my first day at Animal Kingdom, there is no availability for even dinosaur/its tough to be a bug until 4 pm! Is this real? I made my times and click modify, it says for instance, earliest time available 8:20. When I click change time there is nothing available. Just wondering if I am missing something.

Do you have an AP and did you make theme park reservations? If you have an AP but no theme park reservation, you can only book for 2pm or later; you need a theme park reservation to book earlier in the day.
