Life is way too short

To sweat the little stuff anymore and some of the big stuff any more.

I once again, came to this conclusion today as I was wrapping the Christmas present that my mom, dad and I went together and got my daughter, Kara. It is a playstation 2 and then got to thinking grandpa isn’t going to be around to play games with her on it.

Then, got to thinking – dad promised me long ago – that he would be around to walk Kara down the aisle when it came that time – now he is gone.

Life is way too short to sweat the small stuff – here is to living each day to the fullest that you can.

Cheers Marla....I'm sorry that you too are facing a holiday without a parent...it really stinks!!!!!

When we were cleaning out my moms house we found a tigger ornament that we assumed she bought to give to Britt either for Christmas this year or her birthday. So I made the decision to give it to her on her birthday in private (just her and I) so that she could put it on the tree for this Christmas to enjoy!

Marla, Cyber Hugs for you and your family. I lost my own father 3 days before Easter 1993, it is still hard at times. I believe that he is still here with us, he speaks through the music he taught us to love, his face is echoed in my brother, and he is always in my heart. As long as we have the memories, our loved ones are never far. Time may not heal, but it will ease the pain.
