I just have to say....I'm loving life right now! Went to WDW end of Oct/first week Nov.
Felt the add on bug attack, and had to call Byron (my wonderful guide) for more VWL points. Left him a message and he called me back 15min. later with 100 VWL Dec. points.
I got home Nov. 6th and called member services asking what can I do with 100 December 2003 points......
Can you believe it..... they let me bank all 100 2003 points. I was so happy!!! So I decided to use the points for F&W next Oct. I called this week and got a 1 bedroom at VWL! :cool1:
Ok,,, still excited from getting the dates and a Fed Ex package arrives today... I opened it and inside is a receipt to send back to member services for 4 free 1 day park tickets as a thank you for my 100 point add on. I thought that the tickets were only for SSR add ons.
Just wanted to share my happy news. I already shared it with my FedEx man. Who by the way owns at BWV and VB!

Our Guide told us the passes are for SSR add on only. Was she wrong? Has anyone else received passes for a non-SSR add on? I just did a BWV add on and did not get any passes.
 
What a great Disney trip from start to finish! And what a way to start the holidays! I'm going to SSR in a few days and I'm going to see if I can sway DH into a few more points (just a couple, you know :smooth: )

My guide said this also. I emailed member services and called the 1800 number that you call when you get your paperwork in the mail and told them that in my members email it said nothing about SSR for the tickets, that it just said "an add on". My guide said that they assumed that the members would know that it was SSR because that's all that they're selling. (even though they sell other resorts here and there, but SSR is there main selling point). I told both cast members that I hoped that they would honor the email and give me my tickets. I noticed that the website first said just an add on and now says SSR add on. I don't know if this helps you or not, but you could try and call them. (I have a copy of the email still if you need it)

Good luck! I wasn't expecting the tickets, but was thrilled to get them! I really believe that Member Services will do everything they can to help us out, within their power. They've always been wonderful to my family :flower1:
 
got the passes in the mail today- Just wanted to share about the box. I just expected the passes in an envelope. Nope. They come in a 3-d pop up box. ¥ou open the box and Cinderella's Castle pops up. It has a nice card and poem on it and ribbon to wrap it up in to give as a gift. I have to say, DVC did a really nice job with the packaging. I'll try to post a pic of it. It's very cool.

Ok, I've got the best Fed Ex man! He saw how excited I was about my tickets and how much I liked his DVC hat: he went home and got me a DVC hat that he got on the cruise! His family had a magical gathering on the cruise and DVC gave him extra hats, and he said that he still had 2 brand new ones left and I could have one. It just made my day!
