I think that even the meekest and most calm and sensible woman turns into a bridezilla at some point when planning the wedding. We all have the "cinderella" dream and nothing ever quite lives up to it.
I have a confession to make. I do not plan to show her the dress. I am feeling mildly guilty about it as I got a great deal on it (ideeli if anyone is into that stuff) and it is something that truthfully probably would be perfect for her attendants (my other sister and her best friend) and in the right price range (under $100) but I just didn't want to go there and I wanted it for myself!
In concept she is all about everyone picking their own dress that they like as long as it is in the palette but in concept...methinks it will be different as does the sister in the wedding. I figure since half of the girls that are supposed to coordinate with her are out of town and her only technical requirement is to match the paper. I should be good.
It is cool though as the lines of it do work really well with her dress. I am feeling a little selfish like I should have given it up to the attendants but with ideeli you get like 24 hours to move on it or it's gone and things can go fast! It's already over.
I do have fear of her seeing and going YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME!
My excuse is the style doesn't really look like my other sister and I have no idea what her BF likes (never seen her in a dress!).
The wedding isn't until June but this won't even arrive until late Feb and while that certainly leaves me tons of time, I'm glad to have it done with!
Besides then I can justify trolling ebay for some really great shoes (even though I do have a pair that will probably work). And I can have my girlfriend make me a necklace to go with it...I know what I want and it will take a while for her to craft it. My mothers day present to myself.
It better work, it sure has a lot of expectations to live up to!

That's perfectly ok. He is a man who appreciates others appreciation (if that makes sense). He's rather fond of it too. It's all his fault, I actually didn't even know about ideeli until he sent me the info. Which I'm sure loses him man points but does give him wife points.
I have to agree with you about it being only Tuesday. Between our computer problems on Saturday and bad weather on Sunday, I need a redo on my weekend.

You know, once you buy your first Vera, you end up with more -- before you know it, you will be digging your make-up out of a Vera cosmetic bag every morning and storing your jewelry in a Vera jewelry case. Or maybe that's just me...

Same here! We had CRAZY winds Sunday night and after 3 days of computer work, I feel like it should be Thursday!
It's a different neckline than I was looking for, I really wanted a halter style and don't typically do sweetheart so it will be interesting to see what it looks like on.
We will see on the Vera's, heaven's knows I have enough bags as it is already. Butl I AM going to need a wallet to go with it, it probably won't match, just coordinate as I prefer the hard card cases.
The sunglasses cases though...now there is a different story!

That style you got is one of my favorites, I've been looking to get that bag in the new orange pattern but I won't pay the prices online and the store near me that has them for 50% doesn't have that style
