That was me. I never said that you couldn't get a job with a degree from LU. My point was that you're kidding yourself if you think it never matters. And I'd bet that in cases when kids have just graduated and have very little work experience, that it matters in more cases than not
Exactly. If you are going to stay in the South, or you want to teach at a Christian college, then LU might be OK.
But if you want to move away from the area, PARTICULARLY to the liberal Northeast or California, your LU degree is likely not to be worth a great deal to them.
And before people accuse me of being "rude" -- this is the way of the world. My UF degree is worth more in Florida than in California.
