We like it too, but stop getting anything there because of the price for what you get.....even for a snack.
We never try to do a meal from there. We look at it as more of a snack to tide us over when we have an early dinner reservation or for a late night protein boost.
The bacon-wrapped asparagus is yummy!
With a squeeze of lemon!
The portion sizes are miniscule! I am a lightweight when it comes to food, it doesn't take much at all for me to feel full, but I would have to order at least five of these things to feel somewhat satisfied. One by itself is not too expensive, but added together it would be a lot. I see people mention that they eat meals here - how?!
I really do like the food a lot, and typically I feel that Disney food is not such a bad value compared to other theme parks. But in this case I was very disappointed.
I think I (well and my wife) must be the only person ever who did not like BB at all. We had it about 8 years ago. The 'Polynesian sauce' literally seemed like they took cheap catchup and mixed in a little pineapple juice. The Tiger tails at the time seemed like very unflavored bread sticks. As little as there was, and expensive (relatively) as it was, we could not bring ourselves to eat it.
I imagined that they must have made some major changes in the past few years for all of this love, but now I hear people saying how good it has always been... I am now worried again that I will be disappointed by the Plaza Inn fried chicken.
For me the allure of plaza inn fried chicken is the amount of food more than the quality of it. The chicken itself was just ok for me. It's good but not good enough to crave for me. But if I am really hungry then it's a good meal to get because I will surely be full when I leave. I guess if I am going to pay that much for food than I need it to be enough to fill me up for quite a while or it's not worth it to me.
Thank you for the fair response, Every other report I have heard, you would think it was equal in awesomeness to Dole whip
