(Yes folks this is a true story!)

I got laid off Monday. I was pouting about not getting to go to Orlando and the long term boyfriend (AKA as Waldo) said "why don't you go anyway, it would do you good" Turns out the Delta ticket I had already bought for next week can't be used by someone else so it's MINE! Called DVC and booked a room. Will be using DME (hey I just lost my job this is the economy trip LOL!)

So now it looks like I will be there Sunday and Monday!!! (I might strech it to Tuesday, but I might have an interview that day)

I am in shock over the layoff. Didn't have a clue it was coming. They cut about 30 of us. But I have already had two phone screens, have meetings with recuiters tomorrow and Thursday and have things rolling! I don't expect I will be unemployed forever so I can do this trip. (Just no shopping!)

So if anyone is there this coming Sunday and Monday.. I will be the one with the sign "Will work for Off Kilter"

Carol sorry to hear about your lay-off. My DH was recently let go too so we are feeling the pinch. Great to hear at least you are able to take a WDW trip to take your mind off it for a bit. Enjoy seeing the boys and WDW.

I am considering ALL types of jobs. One recruiter just ran an Orlando job past me this morning and I told him to sumbit.

It is now 4:07 in FL, so hope Carol was at the 2:30 AND the 3:30 shows!

I'll be there this Wednesday - hopefully for the 5:30 and 6:30 shows. I'd love to stay for the 7:30 - but want to get to my mom's house (an hour away) before it's dark. Carlyle - will you be there Wednesday? I'll be back Friday to stay for 4 nights - leaving July 1st in the evening. Here's hoping they play Sunday-Tuesday next week!

I was there yesterday hanging out with Carol. I'm going back for two shows today, then over to see Hotel California. The boys are off tomorrow - no idea why. I'll be back Wednesday and Thursday for the first two shows, and then over to Hotel California.
