Let's celebrate this "babymoon" GRAND style!! COMPLETED

Any day with FOLK monkeys is an awesome day !!! :cool1::cool1:

Still need to officially eat at Y &Y. Stopped in for a drink and some rice once but never made it past the bar.

You must be getting close and I hope everything from here on out goes smooth and easy. :goodvibes

Awesome update! :)

Great update.

Thanks! I know it was short, but I like doing the chapters.

I'm confused. Are they getting rid of FOTLK?! Hopefully not before October I was planning on seeing this show then!

Even though we have ITTBAB here at Disneyland, I want to take my DM to this show so she can see the Tree up close. DH absolutely hates this show, so he can watch DS.:thumbsup2

Aw, love that LG wants to shop for the baby. So cute of him.

No, they are just moving the show to Africa!

I hope DM loves the tree. It's so neat looking at all the animals.

It's hard to believe that once upon a time I had no real interest in FOTLK. My God how stupid was I. Just a wonderful show!! I'm actually kinda looking forward to it in it's new location. Africa just makes more sense I think.

Glad Little Guy enjoyed the Bugs. So many children are absolutely terrified in there. I expect I would have been as well as a child. Good on him!

I think moving it to Africa is a good idea as well!

I admit, I got a little freaked out in parts of the show. I hate spiders and bees, haha!

Love Yak and Yeti, I could go there just for the fried wontons on the desert menu.... YUM!! I was just thinking the other day that you must be getting close to time for the baby! I hope you're doing well!

Those are yummy too!

I am doing well! I'm going to do a life update soon with maternity pictures we had taken!

Great Update!

I love FOTLK. I always love seeing it!

It's a neat show!

You'll have to try Y&Y sometime!

I am 34 weeks tomorrow! Can't believe how time is flying!

Phew, thank goodness they're keeping it around. I've only seen the show once but thoroughly enjoyed it. I can't really remember, is it pretty loud? Like is there loud, frightening, surprising noises? Obviously I didn't care when it was just me and DH but now with DS, I have to plan better with shows.

The only part that I could think of to be loud and frightening is during the "Be Prepared" portion of the show, which is Scar's song. Maybe you can find a YouTube video of the show to be sure!

I adore FOTLK and I'm so happy that they are just moving it and not doing away with it. I still have dreams of being the blue bird and soaring through the theater. If I could go back in time and work at Disney in my 20's, that would be my dream job. Either that or playing Belle in "Beauty and the Beast-Live on Stage" at DHS. So much fun!

We always get the giraffe section. I love the Lion King show too. I have never seen the Bug's Life movie. I am a HUGE hater of bugs, so I have never had a desire to see it. I'm glad you got to spend some time at AK.

I am very ashamed to admit that, after all the Disney trips I've been on, I've NEVER been to FOTLK! Perhaps in a couple week's I'll make that happen! ;)

Aww, how cute of Little Guy to want to shop for the baby! :goodvibes

Yak and Yeti is the only restaurant in AK that I have not eaten at. I have had the counter service version of it, but I want to go in and have the full experience. (And get lots of new pictures. ;))

Good to know Baby will be stylin' in his Mickey socks. ::MickeyMo

Festival of the Lion King continues to be a favorite. It will be different to see it in a new building. Wonder if it will still be set up the same way or if it will be more of an audience facing stage deal?

I hope they create another meet and greet area that is as quaint as the existing one. I liked that it was quiet and out of the way, and I loved the special Christmas trees each character had.

How have you been feeling?

FOTLK is a family favorite. Glad y'all made it to the show together. We really enjoyed Y&Y in 2010. Loved the mango pie.

Looks like a great morning at AK. We never seem to be able to work FOTLK into our plans. We tried to see it last time, but the timing just didn't work out for us. One of these days...

So cute that he needed to bring his Perry backpack! There's a kid at church who has a Spiderman bag who does the same thing! When we ask him what's in it, he takes out the most random things!

Ahhhh, it's adorable that he wanted to shop for the baby and found Mickey socks!

I also have to admit that with all the times I've been to WDW I've never seen FOTLK. I wanted to go last trip but the timing never worked out for us. It will be a must this trip. I will make time for it. It isn't scheduled to be moved until January so I'll have just made it!

I can't believe you're 34 weeks, almost 35 now! Just from being on the boards it seems like it's gone by quickly! I just LOVE the fact that Little Guy loves to shop for the baby so much. So adorable! I bet he's looking forward to having another Little Guy to run around with. :goodvibes

Great update! Can't wait to see some of your maternity pictures!

Yeah, ITTBAB is definitely for people who like bugs!

I hope you make it to FOTLK! Just make sure to get in line for the show early. When you're up closer to the doors, there's fans blowing!

It is very neat in Y&Y!

I'm interested to see how they do the new building as well!

I'm hanging in there. Getting tired and ready for him to come out!

I know we didn't do much at AK, but we still had fun!

So cute that he needed to bring his Perry backpack! There's a kid at church who has a Spiderman bag who does the same thing! When we ask him what's in it, he takes out the most random things!

Ahhhh, it's adorable that he wanted to shop for the baby and found Mickey socks!

He cracks me up. I wish I could remember the things he put in that bag! I started checking it every morning to make sure there wasn't chocolate in there! That would've been a mess once it melted!

You have to make time for it!!

He is very excited about teaching the baby everything!

Great update and pics

Thanks Scott!

~Life Update~

Well everyone, here we are into September. I’m 35 weeks this week! With only 5 more weeks until my due date, this is starting to feel even more real! We have pretty much everything in the nursery ready to go. I’m just waiting on some hand painted letters that spell out his name from Etsy. This lady paints each letter with a Cars design! So there will be Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, etc. to match the rest of his room.

This weekend, he definitely dropped! He’s lower, which means a little more breathing room for me! Now that his feet are up, I get those lovely kick in the ribs! I’ve been having Braxton Hicks contractions quite often now. We go back to the doctor the 11th for my last 2 week appointment, and then it’s every week!

We have been busy here! DH’s sister got married August 24th. I was Matron of Honor and DH was a groomsmen. Luckily, my dress was a maternity dress AND I still had room to grow! We made sure the seamstress left every inch of room she could. It was an exhausting, but fun day. My feet ended up swelling so bad though!

We also got maternity pictures taken at the end of August. It was really neat because it was the same photographer for: 1) Engagement pictures- August 2011 2) Wedding pictures- August 2012 3) Maternity pictures- August 2013! These are some of my favorites. There’s also one that I can’t share because it has his name in it, but I used those Disney blocks we got and spelled out his name on my belly. I thought he was going to kick them off while I laid on my back for the picture! And, his shoes are Lightning McQueen if you can’t tell!

Beautiful pictures! Something to cherish always. You looks so cute pregnant. Hang in there the best is yet to come.

That's kind of a neat thing that you have those significant photo sessions with the same photographer 3 years in a row! It's an exciting time. The day will soon be here! Good luck in your last few weeks.

You look fantastic!

I never remember feeling like DS dropped for me. I still was never able to breathe easier, even though my Doctor said he definitely dropped. Glad that you feel the difference. Don't the BH's feel so weird!? Your entire stomach gets rock hard, it's so strange!

Love how August is always tied in! Will his first trip be in August? Or sooner?!
