As for 45 minutes, that's not the actual ride time, is it? I think it must include the pre-show in the lobby as well.

Correct.

The part of the attraction when guests ride aboard the moving theater seats
(which is the part where guests CANNOT exit) is about 35 minutes.

Ellen was empty when we went last year, maybe 30 people tops when we went. We had one of those huge rows to ourselves. I was so tired, I laid down using my purse as a pillow and took a nap!
