Le Cellier Dress Code

My family is planning to eat at Le Cellier in October. One of my close friends told me that the attire is dressy, but not formal like V&A. My family tends to dress well if we are going to a place that requires you to dress up. What I am asking is would we be overdressed if my sons and I wore a dress shirt, khakis, and a tie? Yes, I am thinking that sounds like too much but we are not very familiar with Fine, Signature Dining at WDW. We do plan to change clothes before eating. Thank you!

Le cellier is pretty lax on dress codes. even a t shirt is fine.

Le Cellier does not have a dress code. Although it is a signature restaurant, being in a park, almost everyone will be in their park attire.

The signature restaurants at the resorts have a suggested dress code which you'll find on the restaurant's dining reservation page and even that is relatively lax. As long as you pay attention to the "not permitted" apparel you'll be fine, although we've even seen some of those items in the restaurants. Overall you'll see a mix of casual park attire to dressy dinner wear.

The only restaurant that has a strict dress code that is enforced is Victoria & Albert's, but even there ties are not required.

We dined there several months ago wearing our park attire. As other posters have stated, since it is located inside a park, that is what everyone was wearing. Enjoy!

There is no such thing as a "dressy" code at any signature restaurant other than Victoria & Alberts. And less so at a signature restaurant located inside a theme park. 99.9% of the guests there will be wearing regular park attire. I can practically guarantee you that nobody there will be wearing a tie. Ties are not even required at Victoria & Albert's.

We've been to Le Cellier many times over the last 20+ years, usually right from the park, trust me there is no dress code. as others noted, what you wear to the park, is what you wear to dinner. Maybe your friend is confused, or has a different idea of "dressy attire" or is just kidding you. :confused3

I would just wear more classy park clothes that day... Also, if you are planning on taking pictures you could dress up more, but there is no dress code

Ditto! We definitely go in our park clothes, but I make an effort to wear something a little nicer (still shorts though) that day that is still comfortable if I know we are going somewhere like that for dinner.

Thank you everyone for the help! I guess we will just wear what we would to the park and not bother bringing a change of clothes! My friend was probably confused..... -_-

No dress code. We simply wore what we had on in the park. No one batted an eye. We do, however, always follow the dress code when dining at the resort signatures.

Don't think there is much of any code at any restaurant located within one of the theme parks, Le Cellier is no exception. People are going to be in T-shirts and shorts while visiting parksduring the hot season (ie most of the time in Florida). I've never noticed anyone "dressed up" anytime I was there.
