LBV Golf while at SSR

My husband and his friend are interested in a game of golf at LBV when we stay at SSR next month. I cannot seem to find any info about it online. They will need to hire shoes, clubs etc and I was wondering if anyone knows of a good website with this info.

Does anyone know about the DVC discount for golf?

The telephone number to call at Disney is: 407-WDW-GOLF (or 407-939-4653)

You will definitely want to make a reservation for a tee time.

I know you can hire clubs, I don't remember about shoes.

I believe there is information about the DVC Golf Pass on the dvcmembers website. In general, the pass is good for one year and you get discounts on the greens fee. The amount of discount varies throughout the year. You are limited to tee times after 10:00 am. Only one person in the foursome needs to have the pass and they can use it to get a discount for the entire foursome.

I have played the LBV course and they better take lots of golf balls. It used to be where they played the PGA Disney Classic, and is a challenging course. Lots of fun, but a challenge. especially the island hole over in OKW.

I'm not sure they rent shoes. But our DD played in her tennis shoes last June since she forgot to pack her golf shoes. This was no problem at the LBV pro shop.

The front 9 holes of the LBV course runs - for the most part - through OKW.

The fairways are often described as the narrowest of the Disney courses.

I was on the disney.com website today looking at golf for October. I saw in the finer print links to rental costs of shoes, clubs, and generally everything you need.
