I have a cricut and the disney character cartridges.....what are you using to attach the layers together? Some of them will be quite small, any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!

The very small ones, I used my zig pen. or Quick Dry (3M) glue...
I use my Xyron on the other pieces...

I use my little X, it also helps keep all the little peices in one place until I put them together

I think you'll find that having different types of adhesive helps. I use a wet glue for the tiniest pieces if I am completing it right it away - -a zig pen. If I am not finishing it immediately, I stick all the pieces that will fit in the X xyron. I use either my ATG or glue stick or the bigger xyron -- the 500 for the larger pieces.

THe glue boogies from the xyron have been driving me crazy, so I have been avoiding it. Okay to deal with if you are making one thing, but I tend to make multiples and it becomes a time consuming, no fun, PITA.

I have used all of the above but this summer glue arts came out with something they calla glue ring (it is supposed to sell for about $3) and it is a roll of high tack adhesive (same type of high tack used in the glue glider pro). I have been sticking my small pieces onto a section of that - I find it holds a bit better than most of the others listed and I don't have a glue boggie problem with it. It will also hold heavier things- I use it for skittles, small metal items (that I can't use full size squares from them glue arts for), flowers(I just stick down the center, bling and other such.
