Just a question...you took a lot of still photos (all wonderful, by the way); did you also take along a video camera? If so, did you take a lot of video as well?

I'm probably going on a cruise in April 2005, and I wanted to know if I should take along the video camera as well as the digital camera.

tinksmom: We took a taxi from the "welcome center" you go through when you get off of the ship. If I were to go again I'd probably rent a jeep. I understand there are rental places right at the center as well.

DizWiz: Yup, I was the Tourist Poster Child with all my recording devices. I ended up with about 4 hours of raw video that will someday get edited down to something watchable. Love your site BTW. Some good info there.

by the way, that tiny car in st martin (or st thomas, whereever it was), is called a 'smart' car...they're all over europe........they hold two people, but they always look like a death trap to me....
but they are cute as a button and always painted in wild colors....
and by the way, they're pretty expensive....not much cheaper than the honda jazz we got for our DD....

Oh My Word! These are awesome! Thanks so much for sharing your photos - we're taking the Eastern itinerary Magic cruise in March, so we totally enjoyed looking at your photos for a sneak preview! Now I'm heading off to read the trip reports board!

So I read in the one photo about the beach towel being sent to your home instead of given to you on the ship.

Is that something new? Everytime we have gone the towel was given to us on the ship.

Did you receive your towel yet?
