Last weekend in Jan. versus 2nd weekend in Feb.

I have the ressies for the 2nd weekend in Feb (wed-mon) and just found out that we could also go jan 24-30. The only reason that I would consider changing at this point is if I thought there would be a significant crowd level difference...which I do not think there will be.

Anyone have experiences with these weekends? I have been at the end of Feb. but not at the beginning.....anyone?

I don't know about the crowds but maybe feb. would be a smidge warmer?

I've gone mid-Feb and the crowds were really low (except weekends of course). We completely lucked out with weather and had basically 8 straight days of sun, and mid-70's to low-80's weather.

If I could be guaranteed weather like that every year, I'd go this time each trip.

i went 1st 3 weeks in Feb 2005 and it was absolutely freezing, even the locals were complaining!

LOL I went the 2nd week in March in 2004 and it was cold and rainy! I have also been in end of Feb when it was in the 80's as well as early Dec.....guess it is all just a gamble!!!Being a short vacation, I am more concerned about the crowds!!
