I do, but not until tomorrow night. I'm at work tonight. I'm not sure how she's doing at the moment, but she was fine when I left home, so I'm hoping she'll be okay when I get there in the morning.

For the most part, yeah, but she didn't come in my room like she had been the last couple days. I think she's getting lonely because since my parents went on their trip, I'm out of the house for 14 hours, asleep for 7-8, and I only spend about 2-3 hours a day with her on days I'm working. She's used to someone being home almost all the time, since my parents work during the day and I work at night.

I know you two with your overnight shift and down under time zone have the all night thing covered, but I do stay up waaaaaay to late so I will be around for some of the late night posts....good to know that the last one took two or so months. That will take me through DPs first knee surgery and almost to Destination D, but not quite there so I'll probably have no life when it goes down. I just need DP not to decide I need to be helpful during the time when it's crucial! If I ever told her I was involved in anything this frivolous she would KILL ME! She hates that I'm on the DISboards at all, and a game like this would put her over the edge!

So let's not have the end come when I can't be there!

I believe they're due back on July 2, if I remember correctly. And thanks We're really looking forward to it I just hope we get all the reservations we want, you know?

Out of curiosity, why does she hate that you're on the boards? It's something to do, you know? Then again, I've been on forums and such for about half of my life, so I guess I'm just used to it.

Yeah, but such is life. I've been thinking about switching to the day shift when a spot opens up, but if I do that, I won't be able to go back to school like I want to. With our rotating schedule, I'd never have the same days off and would miss half of the semester, so I'm stuck on night shift unless I decide to switch jobs.

Well, if you're used to the night shift schedule and the money is decent, then it comes down to what you want to do with the other hours. It makes sense to stick with it if you want to study...

Exactly, and they're not going to change the schedule for one person. I tried that last semester, and then had to drop out of my classes because they wouldn't change it back (we originally had a different schedule where my coworker and I had every Tuesday and Thursday off).
