Thanksgiving is the time that we are supposed to reflect on all that we are thankful for....

...so I just wanted to let you all know that I am thankful to have made so many great friends here on the LTP!

I stayed home and put up holiday decorations in my yard.

I then went to the basement to try to clean some, got as far as one corner and pooped out!!!

I must have over done it yesterday.

it was ok, but I prefer the ham on the bone. i like the soup left overs also

Our ham was DELICIOUS! I saved the bone, with quite a bit of meat on it, and put it in the freezer for soup! Yummy!

Nope, not this year. I did the early morning shopping a couple of years ago and it's just not for me.

Did you hear that a Walmart employee was trampled to death opening the doors at a Walmart in NY? How sad!

I stayed home and put up holiday decorations in my yard.

We're supposed to go get our tree today. But I'm not sure if we will...

DH decided to start a project yesterday. He's re-doing the walls in the living room with this tongue-n-groove stuff. It's making the walls look like the inside of a log cabin. It looks nice - but why he had to wait until the holidays to start I'll never know. He doesn't have a very good track record for starting and finishing a project in a reasonable amount of time. But he promised he would get it finished up quickly this time. I guess we'll see. Matthew worked with him all day yesterday - learned how to use the table saw and the air nail gun. He'll be able to really say he helped out a lot with the living room project!
