I AM READY to set the clocks back!

I will enjoy getting out of school/ work and still having sun :sunny:

Hmmmm! Things must be different in your part of the country! Here it's getting dark earlier and and it's almost dark when I get out of work! :confused3

even when they steal stupid things that were free anyway.

If I would have wanted to get rid of something, I would have offered it or thrown it away.

its really annoying. Its even more crazy that I care that they stole something that was free anyway.

But it was mine and I was saving it for my neice and nephew.

:furious:

I would have been happier if I thought I had lost it, but DH told me he took it.

Jerky boy.

Did I miss something? :confused3 What got stolen??

And Last night DS Kyle-the one that cost my a small fortune in cell phone calls :headache:

Well- he had a choir concert and get this..... we arrive and he's wearing his choir t-shirt and jeans and all the other kids have on Tux's and Formal Long Evening dresses (all Matching for the girls)

OMG-That's right(He says) I need to get a TUX!!! Hello? A Tux!!! The concert is in 45 minutes!!! :faint:

Good thing Kohls had a 50% off sale and had Tux's on sale and in the right sizes and I found a pair of dress shoes on sale for 34.00-so he cost me nearly another 200.00!!! Even with the sale prices!!!

And we did this with 15 minutes to spare-even found a seat for the concert after all that running around!

What a night!!!!

I'd be making him pay for that too!

And on our way back to the school we found another kid actually walking to the HS for the concert in his Tux  - We stopped and gave him a ride

What is with Parents these days, not even giving their Kids a ride to the concert! I don't know, It's just not right! I don't even think his Parents showed up! :sad2:

Glad we could give him a ride though-he was quite a bit away from the HS and would of been very late! And he was very happy to get a ride!

This kind of thing has always amazed me! :sad2: I do understand that there are working parents who just can't go but I know with our boys there were always a couple of kids in their classes whose parents never went to anything and they weren't working! Sad!

very quiet around here

-so we had trick or treating here last night and I bought a bunch of candy and we barely went thru a 1/2 bowl and I was giving away 3 pieces of candy to every kid

Ughh-we have so much candy left-very dangerous around here :rolleyes1

I bought candy for trick-or-treaters and we only had one! So we've got a ton of candy around here! Plus, we marked down stuff at work and I stocked up!

WOW! Very very quiet around here-Oh well heading to bed sine I was a luckey duck who got to work 13hrs last night instead of 12-fun fun-watching the clock revert back to 0100hrs was such a sad site indeed :sad2:

So I hope Kelli had a Great walk with Great weather :)

I think Pam is returning from her trip to the East coast ;)

And wasn't Kathy going to post some cruise pictures this weekend-How about it Kathy :confused3

Haven't forgotten - just really busy!

Well, I'm all done with my reading back!

Still don't know what was "stolen" from Pam.

Kelli - details on the weekend :confused3 :confused3

Morning :wave2: Glad to hear you had a Great time this weekend Kelli :thumbsup2

Yes it was so rewarding. You really feel like you are making a difference. At least for 3-days anyways. It was so strange to get home and for 3-day not hear anything about what was going on in the outside world.

Glad you had a wonderful weekend Kelli!

Were'nt you going to be doing something different today?

Yes I was stationed in Camp Services as a Crew Member. Long days, with little down time but well worth it.

We had rain on Saturday night and sunday morning but not bad enough for a relocation like we did last year.

I had to put up the big Rememberance Tent which has journals and pictures of 23 Women who had passed away this year from Breast Cancer. And there was a white Tampa Bay tent for the walkers to sign. Well hanging the pictures on Friday morning was okay, it felt kind of rewarding putting this amazing women on display for all to see. But Saturday night when I had to take them down and pack them away for the next city really got to me. I had a really difficult time with that. After not sleeping for the past two days and realizing that with each picture I pack away my weekend was coming to an end. It just hit me and I cried, I cried for each women, mother, daughter and friend that I packed away. Also all the women and men that I met and helped during the walk.

Very emotional weekend.

Ashli came down on Friday with a friend of mine to help put up tents for the walkers. And it was so windy that my friend was putting the tents up and than putting a kid in each one so they didn't blow away. :rotfl:

We had over 1700 walkers, 350 Crew and staff memebers. The Tampa Bay walk raised 4.5 million dollars this year which was down almost a million dollars from last year. But the walker count was also down this year and I am not sure if that was due to it being on Halloween weekend. Which suck because it will be on Halloween weekend again next year.

I am still trying to decide if I am going to walk or crew next year but I guess I have time to make up my mind.........

Not bad to not hear outside news for three days - the week before elections! :rotfl:

Wow! I cried just reading that! I'm sure it was really emotional but you should be so proud of yourself for doing this each year that you have!

I think a lot of the difference may just have to do with the economy this year, too.

I am still trying to decide if I am going to walk or crew next year but I guess I have time to make up my mind.........

Both hard jobs - one more emotionally challenging and one more physically challenging. But, like you said, you have plenty of time to decide!

You nailed it with this statement.

I love being a part of the 3-day. It makes my life complete.

Afternoon  I have to work again tonight-I had changed my schedule with a couple girls so I could have off for DS return from the Middle East this Weekend-And now He's not coming home-and Yes-We still do not know when!!!:guilty:

I'm so frustrated with that since I will need to re-beg people to change my schedule around to have some days off-that or call in sick-since I haven't had any sick days in a year-so it's a thought :rolleyes1

We Hope to find out by Sunday-but I'm not holding my breath:sad2:
