Yep My brother and his girlfriend are coming over for dinner, so I'll be going out after that. I don't spend enough time with my big brother.

We just got home. Ugh! I am so tired! We are going out, but not nearly as exciting as anyone else, just to a local pie house/coffe shop for dinner after Fran wakes up from her nap.

Flowers were a bridesmaid bouquet. One of my group of school friends at the wedding was one and we were chatting with her during the hours...yes hours...it took to take all the photos at the church after the ceremony.
Looks similar to a bridal one though
Of course the bridal one was actually a bouquet of Totoro toys

Don't know how many were at the ceremony but there were 450 at the reception. and we all got personalized messages in our name place cards on the tables.

At the moment I'm waiting outside a friend's place. She's moving back home as she lost her job. so I'm helping her out. She only moved a month or so ago....for independence and to be closer to work but the boss couldn't find a buyer for the firm so it's closing.


Funniest part of the night
- Imperial March from Star Wars played as the happy couple officially arrived at ther reception

How do you make it easy for your kid to celebrate mothers day?

DH is a prince...but he's not super organised. So, last night we made sure that everything was prepared for the morning chores and also that my present was wrapped so that when DS woke up this morning, all the boys had to do was wish me HMD and organise breakfast. DS had asked DH to get me a present and DH had said it was all taken care of....but given that I bought the present and knew that it was still sitting in the drawer waiting to be wrapped at 10 pm last night....well, I had to step in with a gentle reminder.

So, I got up early to rush through the morning chores and then headed back into bed so that I could be surprised by DS.

Breakfast was in bed....a croissant and a cup of tea.

Back home again. Had a lovely weekend catching up with friends.
Thank you for the best wishes. Although a lot of hassle. It was good her getting out of the house for a month and a bit. A slice of freedom. But she missed her stomping ground and it will be easier to hang out with friends back on her 'own' turf.


Hope ya'll are keeping well. My cold has gone I'm just surrounded by sick people now
