Did you finish packing? I hate that job. I wish I could find someone to do it for me. I admire people who can that with no problem. I wait til the last second and throw it in a bag. One time I lost weight and had nothing I got to vegas and had no clothes. I had to shop, I hate clothes shopping I think I shopped for something under an hour and left.

Not quite done, but very close. We need to put a few more things in. I was going to bring some capris and a matching shirt, but found out it might rain next week, so only bringing long pants, and one dress. I don't have any hope of losing weight so I'm good there.

All I need is to put a jacket for me and some of Fran's clothes, plus she needs to restock her bathroom bag. otherwise I think we're good to go. Very tired good night!

Dang internet is so slow

It should be okay now. There usually is a 30 minute period where the administrators are doing some IT work....I call this the Dis Twilight Zone Time. I normally log off, wait the 30 minutes and then jump back on.

No I havent gotten it yet. I have to wait till next weekend as my husband has a golf tournament this weekend. I rarely see him when he plays. Plus I am not well enough to get out to do any walking. but I am excited and cant wait

Given that you live near Yellowstone, do you think you could post some pictures of your surrounds? Nature or wildlife , I'd love to see them.

All of my pictures are hard copies and in a photo album.....

Possibly. I actually don't have a lot of pictures of here. Probably 100/1 Disney to here. But for the most part most pictures are all the same. Kind of like it's another picture of the Castle.

But if I start posting pics I will see if I have some non tourist pictures to share.

I think it was a peaceful one as it was not mentioned as a riot. They just want people to be aware that there is a problem. I dont know if you have been there but there is a section where they hand out those cards. Adverstising you know what. There was no comotion when we came back.

I've been to vegas many times. Oh yes I love the people handing out cards.

What lenses do you currently have?

Have you looked at the t3i? I am trying to figure out the difference. I saw some people talking about it on the photography board and they were not that impressed with it.

I looked at the T3i when it hit the shops. There wasn't that much of a difference to the T2i. The biggest difference was the flip & swivel (articulating) screen. Aside from that, the processing seemed the same.
For me, I'm not sure it was worth the extra money just for that feature as I don't do a lot of video from the camera.

If and when I decide to upgrade, I'd be heading toward the 7D or the 5D Mark II body.
