Well, this may help. It's a little known fact that most bananas do not support the DH in baseball, so it may be related to this Red Sox support.

I can relate. Well, not me personally. My brother got his arm ripped clean off by a rabid banana. Or it may have been a kiwi. I'll have to ask him next time I see him.
