We figured we meet back at the house around 2:45 to grab some lunch and then we're off again!
Better you than me Liz-I never let my kids play Baseball due to all the practice and game schedules![]()
Soccer was bad enough with 2 kids playing-adding baseball would be insane!!!!
You are a very dedicated Mom and Dad!!!![]()

Anyone else go to the midnight showing of Spiderman 3?
I went to a friends house after school. We sat around, watched Pulp Fiction, played GTA San Andreas, then went to the movie. Of course, it was a school night (Friday morning technically). The movie was GREAT. After that, I went back to his house becuase he lives very close to the movie theatre and crashed. That was around 2:45 AM. Then, I got up at 6:30, and went back to school.
So, for that day, I ran on 4 hours of sleep and a Monster energy drink. Good times, good times...
Heck, I didn't even go to be until 1 AM that night because I was helping set up for the yardsale. (And I mowed the lawn after I got home from school Friday.)
As for why I shared all of that, I have no clue. I think it was the fact that I just drank a Mt. Dew, and I haven't drank pop/soda since around Nov./Dec. Well, I have, just in small amounts, very sparingly. Yea, it must be the caffine.
Speaking of the yardsale, we got around $800 for our youths mission trip this summer. Not bad at all.
I'm out. Talk to everyone later.
Wow. I just saw lightning (or bright explosions) outside my window.
Yesterday was a killer! I am sooooooo tired! But I've got to go to work today.![]()
DS and I left here at 6:00 a.m. We had to meet with the others at a school in town and the kids charter rode buses. I drove 3 hours and it poured most of the way. Got to the amusement park and stood in line to get tickets, in the pouring rain, for almost 1/2 an hour. The kids already had their tickets and got right into the park. Shortly after we got in it slowed down from pouring rain to a very fine drizzle and was like that most of the day. DS's perfomance/competition wasn't until 5 and we got there about 10.So, we couldn't sneak out early. I made it until about 4 until my foot started to bother me which was great!
We left at 5:40 and as soon as we got to the van it started raining hard again and didn't stop. It rained all the way home.
I had driven DS's best friend's mom down there and the boys rode the bus down but came home with us. We stopped in Hickory to go to the mall and get a bathing suit for DS's friend and some shoes for DS. (They leave tomorrow morning on a three day trip with school.) The high school in Hickory was having their prom and everyone was at the mall!!! The mall has an indoor carousel and they were all getting pictures taken and then walking around the mall in their formal attire. It was so neat to people watch!!!
Never got home until 11:00 last night.
I'm off to work...finally. I was supposed to be there 15 minutes ago. Oooops. Oh well, on Sundays it doesn't matter much. I just couldn't get motivated this morning.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!
going to be a cald day here today! but in the high 70s by tuesday
