We are off to the homecoming dance!

Matthew and I have made 120 cookies and a pan of brownies and about 100 appetizer wraps (turkey and ham)!

We are just getting home from the dance. A.J. had sooooo much fun! He danced and danced and danced. He danced mostly with the college girls that were there helping out. (It was held at the Holmes Convocation Center at Appalachian State University.) A.J. wasn't shy at all about asking the girls to dance.

The cookies and wraps were a hit. They were the only homemade goodies. We brought about 2 dozen cookies back home with us but no wraps!

It was a great experience for Matthew to go and help out too!

Now I need to put together my shopping list so I can run to the store in the a.m. That's where Matthew and I were headed last night when we had the van problems.

Speaking of the van problems. I'm wondering....last week I hit a deer. Someone else had hit it and it was laid across the road but it was really big and I hit it hard. I wonder if I damaged the undercarriage and that tie rod????

Anyway, tomorrow is Andrew's birthday so I need to get his favorites for dinner.

That would do it -too bad it didn't give you a warning-our usually vibrates really hard when it's nearly broke thru-most times you feel the vibration when you go faster than 45-50

Catie had a great game of soccer today-they only had 8 players(well 7 - we borrowed a player from the same league just another team)since we have 2 girls out with injuries and 3 out on vacation-so no subs all game-and Catie survived

Thankfully it was cooler out -no humidity and around 70-very sunny-I managed to get a nice sunburn!!!!

and the girls played so well-and the game was tied at the end 1-1-so I call that a great game!!!!

I am so tired

I waited up for DH to get home

I have no Dryer
and my kitchen is tore apart waiting for him to put the dishwasher in

and he has spent 2 days so far and will go after work today to my BIL

they have no hot water and it is a very old house he had to redo lines and everything

thant he hot water heater they bought had a manufacturs defect so they are
returning it today and getting anther
