DH gave me a hard time that I wouldn't be able to stay off LTP if I had a chance to get to the computer and I wanted to prove him wrong. So when I had a chance at Nana's computer I just checked my email and sent a quick email to Tracy. I never signed on to the dis! Oh, man, was that hard!!!

OK People! I need opinions!

Every since I was a little girl I always wanted to learn how to be a bartender( i know that's a crazy thing for a little girl to want, but I used to want to learn how to flip the bottles and stuff in the air)(then when I got older I wanted to learn how to make my favorite drinks ) so I was bored the other day and found a bartending school here in Houston, it's a 2 week course, and the price includes tuition, books, materials, certification, and job placement. I thought maybe it would give me something to do till I can find a job or just something to do during the day, but I have a friend whos a bartender and he told me I could make alot of money if I was a bartender. So I was thinking maybe I could work as a bartender for about a year and save some money, then I could take morning classes and work at night till I'm done with school. I'm really liking this idea, and everyone says it could work for me. The class really isn't that much, but I don't have the money. My mom said she can give me half, but I need to come up with the other half. She thinks I should call me dad and ask him for it, she's right, I've NEVER EVER asked him for anything EVER and this would be the 1st time if I asked him for it, but I don't know if I can make myself call him to ask for money. I don't know what to do.

My DD is a waitress in a restaurant that has a bar. She can't wait until she turns 21 in October so that she can go to bartending school!! She says the bartenders make so much more than the waitresses/waiters plus the waitresses/waiters tip out the bartenders at the end of their shift in addition to what they (the bartenders) get on their own!!

Have you watched the Coyote Ugly series on CMT? I loved it.

Ask him! As a loan. The worst he could do is say no!

I don't mean to get too personal, so I don't expect you to answer if you don't want to...but being that I am not sure how much money the classes are....do you think your dad has enough money to help you? I mean, he may want to help you and not have the money or not have the money at all....sorry, I know I am on the fence saying, "ask him", but this just popped into my head.

I was wondering that too!

DD was playing Old Maid and Go Fish on the laptop and all of a sudden I hear the computer - "Check" - "Call" - "Raise" - "Fold". Well this goes on a couple of times until it hits me. I turn around and ask her what she is playing. She looks at me and says "Poker - and I am winning".
