OMG....I would love it if we lived that close where I could...I am having such a hard time...my kids always come first and right now I feel like I am dealing w/ the lessor of all evils...I just got a call from the preschool director at the place I visited today...they have 8 openings left, but I don't think I want her there...so this seems to be my options right now:Good Ol Gal said:Oh Lyn!! I am so sorry that you're having such a hard time finding a good spot!
FWIW.... I know someone who has 3 openings and is an experienced homeschool teacher... and I know she'd be willing to keep 'em till 6pm since you'd have a longer commute![]()

1. We get a spot at the good school which would be parttime and pickup at 2:30...I find a way to make it work..which may mean I take a pay cut to get done early (which I think DH and I would be willing to do, it would be a sacrafice and saving for college, paying off stuff would need to wait, but I would do it...I just don't think I could get it at my job).
2. We have a serious talk w/ the school she is at now. Overall, they have been good, it was the bulling and last Friday's incident that was really bad...but it did mostly affect only DS and he isn't going back...so we are considering that they may improve and DD would be o.k. This isn't my best option, but looking around at some other schools, the place she is at is better than what is avaliable.
3. I am still waiting for my co-worker to let me know about the place her son is at...but I am not holding my breath![]()

that's very true! especially if you are uneasy about the other schoolMom2Ashli said:Like you said #2 is still an option. And maybe after you bring it to their attention things will change.![]()
