plus my DD always runs a higher than normal temp-she's had a fever as high as 106.2 once and had 105+ for over 5 days,then she feels sick

My DD's both run a little lower than normal most days
like 97.8 or 98 but still i think 99 doesnt' really count

I just talked to Nana. Grandpa is going downhill fast.

I had offered to go up this weekend and she said no, to not plan on it right now. She feels we'll either be up there by this weekend for the funeral or if I went up I would no sooner get home and have to turn around and go back. It's so hard, but he has gotten to the point that he is suffering and all we can do is pray God takes him soon and he doesn't suffer much more.

Just saw your post about leaving DD. I was cleaning out some stuff today and I found a card that DS made for DH and I for our anniversary several years back. We were leaving them with friends of ours overnight and going to Gatlinburg. It was the first time. His card said, "Happy Anniversary, I love you, now go and have fun!" I'm sure your DD will do fine! But I also know how very hard it is to leave her!!!

The bigger issue is that both DH and I will be too far away from her. He is working Several hours away from home on Friday. I just want him to come home early. He said he would see what he could do.

but remember-you both will be available by phones and it's not crazy to be only a couple of hours away-you could still reach her within a reasonable amount of time if needed-and hopefully your DH will be able to get done earlier so you feel better
