That's not the best place to have complications!
How about this...during my last pregnancy, DH and I were talking about who would do "it" and my close friend at the time worked for a doctor that specialized in the men's department. She offered to hold DHes hand during the operation :earseek: DH looked at her like she was crazy and told her, "it isn't my hand I am worried about!" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I got home last night to my DD crying her heart out. She was watching All Dogs Go to Heaven and was missing our Greyhound that we had to put to sleep over a year ago. It was so sad and it just broke my heart. She was like if God will send her back to me I will give up all my toys and never ask for another one. Please why can't he just send her back to me.

:sad1:
:guilty: When I asked my DS want he wanted from Santa, he said Transformers and our dogs back :guilty: I told him soon we will have puppies and that cheered him up.....but secretely I am just as sad.

I did my very best not to break down and cry with her. I rescued my Greyhound just before Christmas the year I had my miscarriage. She came into my life at a time I needed something to take care of. She was my little baby. She was so lovable and DD loved her so much.

Hey I see Kim checked in - Glad to know you made it safe and sound to NC.

:guilty: I can understand how much you loved your doggie. DH and I were trying to be positive and we had our older dog for almost 8 years and we love him so much....but DH said maybe it was better this way that we will always remember him in a good way, I don't know if I could have put him down. I know that if he was suffering, we would, better he is peaceful than us, but it would be horrible....But, I really believe when God takes a life he gives a life. Like others were saying, when DS was 2 weeks old we had him blessed and my DHes Grandparents had just come home from a trip. Grandpa died a few days later :guilty: if we hadn't blessed DS noone in my DMIL side of the family would have seen him or said goodby in time....It was very sudden and tramatic, but at least we got to see him one last time.

It was one of the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. I made DH walk into the vet because I couldn't be the one. But I stayed with her until the end.
