We are finally only 4 days away from our trip to WDW!!! I would love some tips, any tips, on how to make this trip smooth and FUN!!!! Any thing that you wish you would have brought or went to, or anything you brought that was a lifesaver? What shouldn't we miss? Our cast consists of my Dmom, me, my DS7, DD3, and DS 15months. I am a little nervous about my 15 month old, he is at that difficult stage where he doesn't want to sit still etc... Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated! This is the first year my mom and I will be out numbered :) Please give me your two sense!!

Are you flying?

We are leaving on Friday and DS6(with autism) doctor said to make sure the kiddos drink from a sippy cup or eat gummy snacks or gummy bears on take off and landing- to help with their ears.

That is the only tip I have gotten that I believe is going to be a "lifesaver". Which like I said before WE have not left YET-LOL

Have a great time!!

take moleskin for hot spots or blisters. never had trouble with my feet before but i did this past august. read about moleskin on this board. it works!

Your kids are about the same age as mine 8, 3.5, 1.5. We took lots of little snacks (fruit snacks, crackers etc). This helped tide them over. Also, our little guy wanted to move around alot and times and at others was very content to watch everything. We took time at various parts of the day to let him play in the playground by Splash Mtn and at Pooh's playground.

All 3 kids did very well - all things being considered. One of us went on the more adventerous rides with the 8 year old with the other watched the two smaller rides. We did alot of the family rides as well and watched the shows and parades. All 3 kids included the 3 and 1 year old loved meeting the characters.

Hope this helps. We will be back down in a few weeks ourselves.

If possible take ur own stroller it will be alot more comfy then the strolers Disney has and ur kid will be way more happy in their own then the rented one.Take plenty of snacks for the little ones and buy some juice boxes if u can as well. TAke the break mid day so the kids can hit the pool or rest for a little bit.Take ur time if u dont see everything thats ok. Use the baby swap at the rides that way everyone in the group can at least try all the rides.Use the baby care centers in the parks u find them useful to change clothes/diapers etc. I have plenty others but thats a few we use.

I would say definitely take naps during the day!! You may think your not tired but you'll be amazed how quickly you fall asleep.I'm a teenager and I like taking the naps! It feels as if you have two days in one1 It is not as bad as in the summer though because the sun just drains all the energy right out of you.

If you are flying how do you plan to get to your hotel? Because if you do get a ride from some sort of company like Tiffinay Town Car be sure to stop at a grocery store on the way there to get all your basic needs.

Most of all relax and have fun. It may seem a little stressful and overwhelming for your first trip (is it?). Just remember to appreciate the little things. Just stop and smell the roses!!

Hope you have a great trip! :thumbsup2

I have a 3.5 and 2 year old and these things help me:

1) Always carry extra clothes (down to the socks). Things happen. ;)

2) Sunscreen.

3) Baby wipes, great for wiping a table off and cleaning faces and hands covered in Mickey's ice cream bars.

4) Plastic baggies. I'm always using them for something: packing items, gathering things in it, etc.

5) Rain ponchos. (And small umbrella for heavy rain)

6) Sometimes, no matter how perfect your plans may be, feel out everyone and go with your family's flow.

7) Again, things happen, it's ok. (We had a few mishaps but still had an amazing magical trip.)

8) Pooh's Thoughtful Spot at MK. Great place for little ones.

Hope this helps.

Just go with the flow and HAVE FUN. Try not to jam to much into a day, everyone will have a great time even if you don't see it all this trip.
