Morning guys!!

Well, we slept in, since we can while we're still childless. I know there will be none of that in a few more months. Then we went to drop off my van and the dealership. IT started making a funny noise last night on the way home from Wal-Mart. DH thinks it was a rock in the wheel, which made a clunk as he pulled out of the driveway and stopped.

So, we went for the Blarney Breakfast of green eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, and yogurt. It's a fund raiser for the local arts center. DH got to have a Bloody Mary with breakfast, he was happy. He was supposed to run in a 10K today, but it's just barely above freezing and we both have scratchy throats. We're skipping the parade and the run.

We came home and he built a fire instead. We're going to have a lazy day.

Shore - good luck with the fish buying.

Kellie - everything's crossed for you.

There is a good possibility that I might lose my mind before the end of this day. Do you guys ever have those moments when you feel like your entire family is on a mission to drive you to insanity?

-_- long night.

You ok?

Just so you know John is going to send HRH an email and give you guys an update after my sugery. I tried to get him so he would post on the thread but he was having none of that. So let me say sorry now if he gets sappy.

That's a good thing. We'll all be thinking of you.

I am having one of those days. I cant get anything done bc every 5 minutes I am getting called away to do something else. I took me forever to finally get DS10's uniform stuff ironed and put away bc I kept getting pulled away. Errr.

Then DS is asking me a million questions about this book report, umm hello I didnt read the book you did. I finally flipped and said I was changing my name. So DS comes in to ask my ANOTHer question and he says "Umm Fred I have a question" Great smart as$$:rolleyes1

okay shore I told John that before the sergury he needs to take me out for a good crap dinner.
He knew I was up to something when I kept telling how we need to wath some reruns of the deadliest catch:lmao:

:scared: Um, yeah, um, not so sure I want to eat crap for dinner......

So I'm home from the first round of winnerness today.

Went and dropped off one of the cars at the dealer, got breakfast at the yummiest bagel shop around, went to do the full tour of DS's new daycare (we love it), then took the kids to the playground because, while it was supposed to rain today, it's sunny and not too cold. Then we came home and I realized how bad my yard looked, so I took down the Christmas Lights outside (made it before Easter) and raked up four bags of leaves. I still have more leaves out there, but I'll do some more tomorrow. Then I fed the kids and got them settled for nap. Now I'm waiting on a call about the car from the dealer, who closes at 2, but can't figure out what's wrong with our car so they're staying late to work on it. That's going to cost me an arm and a leg.

I guess I don't get a nap today because as soon as I fall asleep I know the phone will ring and I'll have to run out and pay for the car.

Ok, well, mission semi-accomplished.

Got a fish, similar to BIL's dead one. I'm sure he'll notice it the first time he looks at it.

Oh well. I did tell his mom that I killed the fish. I just didn't want to tell him, since it was his birthday and all.

The kids kept fighting in the backseat of the car. Even an SUV is not big enough for the two of them.

So, what did I do? I just turned the music up to ear-drum-busting level so I wouldn't have to hear them anymore.

I do that too. I find a really obnoxious station and turn it up really loud. The boys totally hate it! It usually stops the fighting. They spend the whole time crying, "Turn it DOWN!!"

I have been known to banish them to the way back too. They also have to face their own window.

They're outside playing. So I've got the next ten minutes or so to myself.

Until someone comes in screaming that the dog knocked them down, or somebody's climbing up the side of the house, or somebody's eating dirt.

One of these days I'll look back and miss this. But not today.

i've got it easy....I opened the window and put the dog on the couch. He will spend hours staring out the window!
