Ladies Only - How/where to give DW new diamond ring?

How sweet are you to be thinking of this? :) Congrats on 25 years! These days that is quite the accomplishment! Wishing you 25 more wonderful years!

I like the idea of the wishing well to the right of the castle. We have a family tradition of making a wish there on the first day of our trip and as of yet we haven't had anyone else around while we make our wishes. Give her a coin to toss in and make a wish. When it's your turn tell her she made your wish come true 25 years ago and has continued to do so every day since. Tell her your wish today is for 25 more but that rather than tossing something in the fountain, you think it belongs better here....and put the ring on her finger. Or tell her that your wish is to make her as happy for the next 25 years as she has made you in the past 25. :)

Best of like making a decision! Be sure to let us know what you decided on and how it went!

Next to the castle is always a hit -- it makes you feel like a princess! My DH proposed to me next to the castle at Disneyland. It was such an amazing surprise (not to mention a total shock!). Have fun!!

Victoria and Alberts, have it placed in the dessert.

CRT during the fireworks - have it placed in the slipper dessert.

The Wishing Well by the castle - I am sure you can get some CM help on that one.

In your room with champagne, strawberries, nice music, open window - the whole 9 yards.

Another vote here for her favorite place. I like the fireworks idea-but, it's probably going to be crowded and loud. Chances are whenever she thinks of Disney (and her honeymoon) she thinks of this one special place. Nothing better than having her remember this new trip (and anniversary) with your special re-proposal.
:sunny: Congratulations!

Are you splurging for a Tower room? If so, have a bottle of champagne sent to your room and do it on your balcony during Wishes.

The beach at the Poly is also very romantic and will be empty after Wishes. Maybe sharing one of the hammocks?

Or ... are you planning a special dinner? Give the ring to a CM when you take a potty break to serve with dessert.

Let us know what happens!

I second this! How romantic! Wooo, My husband propsed to me at DD by the Lagoon there. We were too poor to stay at CR. However, someday... someday...some day...

Make ADR's for the castle dinner and let the restaurant know ahead of time about your celebration. My daughter and her then fiancee let them know they were celebrating an engagement and the table was cov ered in ribbon and confetti, a royal announcement was made and servers gave them a gift-champagne glasses. They sat next to the window and it was Christmas time and the trumpeters played carols just outside the windows with those loooong trumpets. You can't beat that!!!

Can I tell you that every time I read a new romantic way to become engaged or to renew vows I get teary eyed. (Sometimes I really wish that I married a romantic man) I cannot wait to hear how this wonderful story turns out.

Ok here's an overview...

Last Tuesday afternoon we were at MK. As we were heading towards Cinderella Castle from Tomorrowland, I lead her to the path that has the wishing well. As we approached the wishing well, I reached in my pocket and offered her a coin to make a wish. When she closed her eyes to make her wish, I retrieved the ring box from my pocket and got down on one knee. About that time she completed making her wish and tossing the coin in the wishing well. She looked at me with a very confused look on here face. I said a few words along the lines of "Our vacation has been quite like our marriage. It hasn't been perfect, but I wouldn't change a thing. I thanked her for a great 25 years and that I was hoping for 25 more."

She was awestruck and I don't believe that she heard more than 5 words. As we are walking towards the back of the castle, she asks me did I plan to take her by the wishing well... I just smiled :-)

Thank for the idea of using the Wishing Well!

How sweet. No matter what you do, it will be a wonderful memory.
As a suggestion, though. It may be too short of notice now, but there is a wonderful company that helps you plan events like this. The woman's name is Jane and the web site is www.giftsofalifetime.com we have used them twice on trips we have taken and they are fitting to the names of pixies. They will set up a treasure hunt or help prepare a magical spot, check out their website.
Good luck, and enjoy every second of your trip together.

I love this company. My hubby arranged a special survivor (but it was more like an Amazing Race, which I loved) event for our anniversary a few years ago. It was the best present ever. At the end, my pixies handed over a gold Winnie the Pooh necklace. It's something I will never forget :cheer2:  :Pinkbounc

Oh, I love happy endings!!!!!!!!!!! What a wonderful way story. I hope that the rest of your life together is as magical. :wizard: :wizard:

Now, can you give my DH lessons? Wonderful man.....good husband....excellent father.....no concept of romance. :confused3
