I only wear fitted shirts and I agree that the quality of the material has gone down over the years. Also, unless I'm shrinking, I think that they are making t-shirts LONGER.
Do you know what brand name it is?Kohl's (if you have one) has some great v-neck Ts that aren't square but also aren't clingy, I love them!
Sounds like my kind of shirt I like longer shirts.I'm wearing a slightly scooped tee from Kohl's (Croft and Barrow, I think) right now, and I love it! It's a smoothly knit, medium weight cotton (this one has a sort of paisley design), is slightly fitted, and comes down about three inches below the hip bone. Very flattering, very comfortable, very affordable. Comes in V-neck and solids, too.
I sound like an ad, huh?
There is something between fitted shirts and baggy shirts. Those that fit correctly but aren't tight and see-through are nicest IMO. For example, a good polo style shirt will fit right without showing off bra-lines and every little bulge. It's the material that counts.
I see people wearing the tight, clingy shirts and I bet that many of them don't look as good as they think they do. Not that I would say anything of course!
I'm in the fitted short category. My only issue with them is when they are on the shorter side, and you bend over....
Crack kills, people!
I have to disagree. I think loose t-shirts make people look bigger and fitted t's are more flattering.
I hate non fitted t-shirts! I'm wearing a fitted lands end t right now. reg ones make me look horrible.. I have *ahem* rather large "girls"and they just make me look fat... at least the fitted ones make me look like I only have big ****s...
Sorry, but I'm all for the fitted T rather than the ones cut like a box. Doesn't matter whether you're thin or curvy, loose T-shirts make you look frumpy.

And fitted make you look lumpy![]()
I don't see how not wanting to wear a bodystocking shirt makes you assume that I wear Mom jeans, big frumpy shirts, and dirty sneakers.I see so many women out in Mom jeans and big frumpy shirts, with dirty beat up athletic shoes.. that's gross to me. I can't imagine why you would want to dress like that. I agree with the PP that said that the big boxy shirts are part of what has contributed to women getting bigger. They can just hide their weight behind a shirt and be happy. I can't stand normal teeshirts, I like the fitted shirts that showcase my body without revealing too much or making me look like a mom who doesn't care what I look like.
You don't have to be snarky about it. In your siggie picture you have on a purple shirt. I would consider that a normal shirt. Is that your boxy tee shirt that you slept in or painted in?i am sorry I have curves and I don't mind showing them. If you look lumpy, then think about some Spanx, they fix a lot of those problems but then ohhhh no, it might not be comfortable. Sometimes you have to pick your battles
I think those boxy tee shirts are greta to sleep in, paint in but I would never wear one out. Makes me look frumpy like a boy!
