Kona breakfast reservation, so aggravating!

I just booked a lunch reservation for Kona for the end of November and then modified it to a breakfast, though the earliest I could get it was for 9:50am, which is later then I want, but its a start.

Tip, try a specific time rather selecting breakfast. I've had this happen before where for some reason the broader range is messed up in the system but if you put in say 8 am it will pull an hour on either side and find plenty. I actually got Be Our Guest this way on our last trip.

I called in and got a breakfast reservation for mid-March.

However, after the reservation was made, it didn't show up on MDE. So I had to link it with the reservation number (so make sure to note the reservation number, as you may have to link it yourself).

So not a single reservation for breakfast was on the app for the week of October 16th. Just called and there were about 3 available on the 2 days I checked. Kind of annoying but happy I called and got a reservation!

Ive tried making a few reservations for not so popular restaurants and got nothing as well. When I finally broke down and called...after wondering how it was so easy for me to get BOG and Ohana dinner, but not the Plaza for lunch and Kona for breakfast, I was told that Disney has kept several restaurants as walk up only, so guests without reservations have more choices for table service.

Just wanted to update. Still have to call to get a breakfast reservation. I've been checking for weeks and nothing was popping up. Called and got exactly what I wanted. Not sure why you can't schedule online but call if you want the adr. It seems to be only for breakfast.

Because they're either all booked up or not yet loaded. Calling won't change that.

Calling will change that ..probably.. Kona has been having a recent well documented problem with breakfast. In the time you spend trying online you can be done with it in a quick call.
