Apologies if this has already been posted. But, I noticed a large ad in Parade Magazine today. If you purchase a specially marked Kodak "water" disposable camera, you can get a Universal Express pass. The language in the ad leads me to believe this is a UE pass for a single day. One odd caveat is that it must be used in conjuction with a "full priced" admission ticket. Exactly what that means I'm not sure. Does that exclude Annual Passholders, or folks getting 3 days for the price of 2? Or, is it just simplified language so that consumers don't think that the UE pass gets them into the park? Also, I'm wondering if it is good for your entire party, or if you need to buy a bunch of cameras.

I guess, I need to research this one, but am wondering if anybody has any info.

Where is the best place to find these cameras? I have searched several Wal-marts and Targets with no luck.

The way I understood this is that it's just good for one person, for one ride. The same as an express pass. But I do not know that for sure. The language is somewhat vague.

I saw the add in a Walgreens and searched the store for the camera, but to no avail. A manager ended up looking for one with me, and he couldn't find it either. I told him I would come back another day(I usually take 2 waterproof cameras with me anyway). I've returned to the store to discover that the camera's are not there and the advertisement is gone.

If you go to the kodak website, they explain the offer there, but not very well.

It seems that Target is the best place to find the cameras. I got the last 4 from our local Target Store. The manager said they are selling well. The pass inside is good for one person only and must be presented with a valid paid admission. When you present the documents at guest services you will receive a coupon book with 5 front of the line passes for Universal and 5 front of the line passes at IOA. These are for specific rides. You also receive some preferred seating for some shows.

My DH got the last two at our local Walmart yesterday. But my question is: if I locate more of these cameras, will I be able to get another express booklet, or is it one per customer only? Does this make sense.

Perhaps I should ask this, will we need another express pass booklet for two adults with no kids. We will be there in one week :Pinkbounc :bounce: We are only planning one day in the park. Is it doable?

Sorry for the long rambling.....

one booklet for every paid admission plus the pass from the camera.

? for those of you that have found this camera, is there an expiration date on the coupon? We will not be there until Nov. Thank- you.:)

I found the camera over the weekend and bought 2 since it will be me and my son who are going. Now I got to thinking... the tickets I bought, I bought from the website. They are full price tickets, however, the website had a deal going on that you can buy a 2 day pass and get 5 days. These are the ones I bought. Will these be considered full price tickets? Are we making this more difficult than it really is? And I have a similar question as "Letfuller" above... how many days do you really need at Universal? My son is not into rollercoasters, but he loves virtual reality and 3D and all that kind of thing. ???

Are there any rules with the EXPRESS ride access pass?
Yes, there are some rules with the EXPRESS ride access pass. The pass can only be used one time and it requires a full-price admission ticket purchase. The entitlements are subject to availability, subject to change without notice and are valid from 4/15/03 - 2/28/04. The entitlements cannot be combined with any other offer, they cannot be used in conjunction with any annual pass and they are not valid for separately ticketed events. The entitlements are valid for one (1) person per card at Universal Orlando® Resort and valid for six (6) people per card (but not valid for per capita sightseeing tours) at Universal Studios HollywoodTM. The pass is not valid at Universal Studios Japan or Universal Port Aventura at Universal Mediterranea. The pass is non-transferable and is for promotional purposes only; it cannot be sold, exchanged or bartered.

Recently returning park guests have stated that they did get the Kodak book of passes with their 2 day for 5 days promo ticket.

In fact, they simply presented the Kodak 3D card at Guest Services and received the book of passes in return.

One book of passes per paid admission & 3D Kodak card. The book contains ten passes: one for each of the top five rides in each park.

Each individual pass can only be used once, just like any other Express pass. Your pass is collected when you get in line.

I hope that clears up any confusion.

My dh has been thinking of buying several of these for ebay. He figures he could make some money for ticket upgrades, and help someone else in the process..We have these in an abundance in Georgia.:smooth:

I was checking these out on Ebay, someone just sold one for 16.00 plus 10.00!!! for s/h! That didn't even include the camera. Someone else had 2 cameras plus the passes for 30.00 and much less for shipping. It's amazing what people will pay! I just paid 9.99 each at Target. Now I have 5 and I'm wondering what to do with all these cameras!
