Kissimmee KOA

Hello,
We can not get in to Fort Wilderness for next Dec. 2007, so we are considering the Kissimmee KOA. Has anyone ever stayed there or have any info on that campground? We are driving in from New York State, so if anyone has any suggestions on the best route to take, we'd love to hear from you too!!!! Thank so much!!!

For December 2007 you are probably 99.9% sure to get a space between now and then. Keep calling back on a regular basis looking for cancellations. Here are some things to keep in mind:

• Call as close to 7AM as possible. Cancellation are notremoved from the system until after CRO closes for the night, so todays cancellations are not available until 7AM tomorrow.
• Look for slightly different dates. Lets say you are looking for December 10 - 15. Ask them for December 8 - 12. Once you get part of your dates, keep calling back to add on. Once you have all the dates you want, you can cancel any "extra" days on either end of your reservation.

Now, if you want to look at other options, Tropical Palms is the place that gets rave reviews all the time.
