King beds at Contemporary?

It's been a long time since I've made a reservation for the Contemporary Resort, and this causes questions to pop up.

For example: When making a reservation for the French Quarter, I always request a King bed. These rooms are corner rooms at the FQ, and just a little larger than other rooms, and, cost just a little more per night.

My question is: Are there King beds in any of the rooms in the Contemporary Tower? If so, should I request one in advance? Do they cost more than a room with two beds?

Any other comments about the Contemporary Tower rooms would be most welcome.

I think they are in the suites - not sure about the Tower and yes I think it does cost more?

In this particular resort, king beds are available in standard rooms at no additional charge. The catch is, that you can ask for one, but they won't guarantee it. The only way to guarantee one, is to book a king bed suite at the CR. Some of the other deluxes guarantee them in their honeymoon suites, but again, you have to reserve that particular category.
