I think I have decided to add the dining plan to our upcoming trip after realizing that I would already be using 6 table service dining credits in the reservations I have so far. It will be me, my husband, my 8 y/o son and my 6 y/o daughter on the trip. The issue is that though i will have used up all 6, my husband and son will have one left and my daughter will have 2 left. (all 4 of us will go to tusker house, chef mickeys, and cinderellas royal table ((which is 2 credits,)) then my son and i are going to hollywood and vine one morning and my husband and i will be going to Sanaa one night. I'm thinking we can all do one more table service restaurant together and ill just pay out of pocket for my meal but what will i do with that extra table service my daughter has? I really dont want to do that many sit down meals especially if im having to pay out of pocket for the rest of us. Any ideas how i can use up the extra table services? Do any of them let you take it to go lol

You can convert table service credits to quick service credits, and you can convert quick service credits to three snack credits (in a single transaction).

That said, double check your math to make sure paying for the plan still makes sense. Leftover credits are a bad sign. www.distripplanner.com can help.

The other part of the reason it makes sense for us to do the dining plan is my husband and kids are not cereal for breakfast type people so i planned on us eating quick service for breakfast most mornings at our hotel (art of animation.) We dont have any lunch reservations but i ordered groceries to make sandwiches to pack most days. Wont be any issue using all of the QS. I added it up and we will be about $50 away from the total price of the meal plan from just TS and QS without calculating in any of the snacks. Forgot to add we will be there 6 nights so i just need to use 6 TS credits each.

This is just a suggestion, but I wouldn't bother packing lunches. The DP is plenty of food if you use it wisely & split meals. My family of 5 split 2 or 3 QS breakfasts most mornings & it was plenty. My 3 boys are big eaters too. If we only got 2 then we would use a snack credit for a pastry. The bounty platters at most resorts are very big. Plus you'll have resort mugs so you could swap the drink that comes with the meal for a side item (I think you can do this). Then we would have 2 or 3 credits to use for lunch. A lot of QS lunches are huge & plenty for sharing (Cosmic Rays, Flame Tree BBQ, BOG). Plus child & adult QS credits are pooled together & not tracked separately so you can order adult QS meals even for your children.
