This is crazy cute!
I LOVE all the ideas and sharing going on in this thread. I have been inspired to make an outfit for my DD for our upcoming trip- just have to figure out which type she will like best.
There is so much for little girls and I have seen just a few for boys. My Ds will be 3 (almost 4) on out trip and I know he would love to have special outfits, too! DD has a princess or Minnie dress for every day but one, and I will make something for that day! Has anyone ever tried to make a Prince Charming costume?
DD will probably wear them both ways, under twirl skirts and on their own....probably will add a pair of bike shorts underneath.

I did prince phillip for my son's first halloween. There is a picture way way back, probably within the 1st 15 pages. I didn't have to sew much of it really.
Will your dd wear the pettiskirts alone with just a top or under twirl dresses/skirts? Where did you order yours?

This is my dd in her pettiskirt from FabbyGabby. This picture was taken in December 06...she was just 11 months old. The Kaiya Eve skirt is still a bit too big.

She looks absolutely adorable in that skirt!
My DD2 wears her pink Kaiya Eve with either a white long sleeved tee with rhinestones around the neckline or with a white tank with rhinestones around the neckline. She has the high-top Lelli Kelly sneakers and she wears those with it with either white bike shorts or white lace trimmed leggings. She'll wear a jean jacket with it in cooler weather. I'm telling you, we can't walk more than a few yards anywhere when she's wearing that outfit without someone commenting on it. She twirls and spins and says she is a princess. It has been worth every penny that I spent on it to see her enjoy it so much.
could not find the picture do you still have it... and do you still have the costume?

ahhhhhhhh anyone see Rag shop is going out of business
Thanks, I found all your boy posts. I had forgotten about them because this thread has been going for a long time. For Prince Charming I will need to make the coat- I will probably just embellish some pants.
I know this thread is mainly about clothes that you'd wear out-and-about, but I thought I'd share anyway.
I went to Joann's today and bought some patterns for future projects. I was strolling through the fabrics when I came upon some with Russian nesting dolls. (We adopted from Russia so it caught my eye.)
Then -- a few bolts down I found the most *adorable* Tinkerbell pajama fabric. It was the kind that's satin on the outside and flannel on the inside. So cute! Is it too early in the summer to start making fall/winter pajamas?![]()

We ordered black, white, and pale pink. I got all three in style 715 childrens (adult 740). I will probably want more when these arrive, but figured I would cover the basics, lol! We wear LOTS of custom clothing and I think wearing these underneath will make her skirts extra special!

My mom just made my DD some PJs out of that type of fabric with Tinkerbell on them. She actually found one fabric last year and then a new one this year. I'll have to take a pic and put it here. My DD loves them!!Then -- a few bolts down I found the most *adorable* Tinkerbell pajama fabric. It was the kind that's satin on the outside and flannel on the inside. So cute!
