My girls and I just love pictures of her!!! I know, you must hear it fifty times a day, but she is the most adorable thing!

Oh no! That is the only place near me for fabric!

I felt the same way! That is where I get all my scrapping supplies and nobody else nearby carries fabrics (even if their selection is limited, it is better than nothing). Guess now I have to travel a bit and stock up. I am going to raid our local Rag Shop today while I still have a chance. Does anyone know if there is a set date for the store closings?

Fabric Question

I'm planning to make dd6 a cinderella twirly skirt using four different fabrics. I have the blues I want, but wanted to use a pumpkin print to match the shirt she'll be wearing with it. Any tips on where to find any? I've checked ebay, but most of it is halloween stuff and I just want plain pumpkins either on blue or white background. I need a piece 42 x 13.

Has anyone seen the "Fabric Art" panels at Wal-Mart?

I assume they are on clearance here (although not by much just they had red tags), one of our Wal-Mart has a ton so I'll probably go back and buy most of them even though I have no clue what I'm going to use them all for just yet.

.

If you (or anyone else on this thread) happens to see the Fabric Art of Ariel that is called "Sea Friends"....I am desperately wanting 2 of these, and would pay you for them and shipping. I find tons of the Girl Who Has Everything (Ariel swimming to the surface), but this one is different.

The one I want has Airel sitting on a flat rock with her hair flowing above her head and Flounder and another fish watching her and little sea horses behind her.

I'd be most grateful if someone helped me find this one!

Thanks!
Jan

Here is something I made today. I had these fabrics lying around and figured I'd better get them sewn into something. I wanted a more "earthy" look for Animal Kingdom. Hope you all like it. This is my first time appliquing a Minnie face.

Oh, I like this a lot! I really like the blue and greens in the dress...something different from the normal animal prints for AK outfits!

The greenish fabric is acutally a tropical print with jungle animals. I plan to put on a zebra sash and some rick rack around the ruffle at the bottom, but I'm worn out...LOL

Here is my latest project to feed my addiction! LOL. This is for our Disney Cruise in October to match all of the Minnie outfits. My daughter says she will actually wear it, we'll see ;) . But she said she is never going to wear the princess ones, so I guess I will be listing those on ebay! At least it will be more money towards the cruise, or boutique clothing or what ever else I find I must have!!!:rotfl2:

Where do you find all the beautiful beads? I would love to try making some of this, but need a bit of direction. Do you buy the polymer minnie girl, or do you make yourself? Beautiful stuff, please share your secrets!:goodvibes

I love the bright green and blue. You did a good job. Your heads look great also. Way 2 go !

Anyway, I'm am fairly pleased except when I was adding a bit of interfacing to add the guitar something must've gotten on my ironing board. See the little spots? Any idea how I can get them out? Will a Tide stick work?

TIA,

Have you tried just pretreating it....for years I bought Spray & Wash because...well, because that's what mom always used. One day the store is out and so am I, so I choose another and WOW what a difference, it actually got stains out instead of just lightening them like Spray & Wash, lol. It's the Oxyclean pretreat spray, and it even got out stains that have been in shirts for a year (the ones S&W only lightened!)

I'd be really really careful about using bleach....not only worrying about getting the slightest bit on the pink and messing that up, but putting bleach directly on fabric can start the process for it to fall apart....maybe not the first wash but quicker than the rest of the shirt does (don't ask how I know this....two different shirts after several washings both fell apart at the exact spot I dabbed with bleach to get clean).

was hoping for a simplicity or one I can buy at joannes. don't like spending $10. could do the stripwork part just would like something for the bodice part.
