They are back on page 263 of this thread i think--they have mickey with a pirate theme. I can find numerous places to order stuff for girls, but don't seem to be having very much luck with stuff for my sons!!

HELP!!!!

Not nearly as impressive as obssessedwiththemouse's (I just love her work!!) but I made these for ds. If you want details of where to get the appliques just pm me.

OMG OMG OMG!!!!! I love it so far! Your appliques are gorgeous, no matter what you think!

Here are some canvas bags I bought at Michaels for $3.29 and decorated. I'm going to fill them with stuff to keep the kids busy on our Loooooong drive to Disneyland in 1 week! (The extra bag is for Dnephew who has a looong flight to Orlando next month!)

Cute bags! I bought me a HUGE bag at WM a couple weeks ago, it's white w/black trim. It was only $3 and I'm waiting for inspiration to make something for myself!

:woohoo: OMG... I was just telling dh that I need him to make me something!!!!!!!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: This is perfect!! :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

Oh yes I remember those. Very cute. I am planning on making DS some pirate overalls. I haven't been feeling very well lately. I am so sleepy all day long no matter how much sleep I get at night. I could go to bed right now if DS would. I did do some laundry today but not much else. Other than dropping off and picking up the kids from school.

Where is everyone this morning?:confused3 You must all be sewing, something I should be doing! Here is a pic I took this morning of dd4 in the first dress I made for her! It was very simple of course but I think she looks soo cute.

And the matching bow:

Not a good pic of the bow but it was cute with the dress!:)

Love this, I ddi a canvas trick or treat bag for HSM cheerleader. (photos after the costume is done)

And since it was hanging right there when I was taking photos of the bags, and since I'm getting so close to 100 posts, here is a handy dandy way to store/organize your ribbon. I got the idea from a coworker of DH's. It is a pants hanger from Target. The "arms" swivel out so it's way easy to use!

GREAT idea

I thought I'd post what I've been working on for the last 100 years. This is Tessa's Cinderella/pumpkin/Fall dress. It's just the bodice so far and I haven't attached the skirt (obviously), or put the zipper in, or pressed those sleeve seams (very important to press your seams ;)). But, I thought I'd share what I have so far so you don't think that all I do is sit around commenting on what everyone else has done and try to steer this thread as far off-topic as possible. :cutie:

This is just great! I sooo don't have that kind of patience.

Ooh, me too! I love Bono!

I prefer Larry (the drummer). No one his age should look that good & that young, but.............

Revrob said "I use the 6" rolls for my tutus. I use www.nashvillewraps.com"

Can you tell me how much of the 6 inch ribbon is reasonable for an above the knee tutu and how much for the longer version?

Do you gather it, or is this for the ones that you tie on the elastic?

LOL - I have to say - I LOVED being pg - and was so PROUD of my big belly - stretch marks and all.

We're going to WDW in December, and the girls have princess dresses to wear to CRT, so I came up with this outfit for my charming grandson. I can't try it on him until we get there because he's in another state. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it fits.

The youngest one's done. I am going to have to sew the elastic but I want her to be here so I am sure I have it big enough. FYI 15 yards of tulle is apparently to much for a 5 year old lmao. That is probably 10 yards. I am off to finish the 14 year olds ... I am sure she will model hers when we are done.

HI - is this a pillowcase dress or a jumper? i love how it lays - did you wing it? wendy

I still did it wrong, maybe I need to go to bed. DH fired up the pellet stove for the first time this year and it's too warm in here and making me sleeeepy...
So if you follow the link in my last post and scroll down a little, you'll see it. You can also see what the bunkbed on a Carnival cruiseship look like and my horse who grew a mustache last spring which was toooo funny.

I love it! I knew earlier when you saw the fabric that you said you were doing a Cinderella pumpkin dress and I wondered how you were doing it and I love it! I kept picturing in my mind the Cinderella in the ball gown and couldn't figure how you were going to incorporate that into this fabric, but this is awesome! Love the idea!
