Kali River Rapids

Tevas, synthetic material shorts and shirts and a tilley type waterproof/water resistant hat will get through KRR in great shape - you may get wet/soaked but you will dry off relatively fast (cotton never drys easily)

I ride KRR and Bluto's Bilge Rats to get wet and soaked

thanks

We normally love to get soaked and usually plan for water rides as the last of the day. This last trip, it was quite chilly and we decided to get the ponchos. Only one half of the raft seemed to get really wet and with the ponchos we remained very dry for the most part. We wore Teva's so it didn't matter if our feet got wet. It was fun, even with the poncho's and I was real glad we weren't wet.:D

On AK days we always wear Tevas, bathing suits, and microfiber board shorts and tanks over our bathing suits. Every time we've ridden KRR we've been soaked. The microfiber material dries really quickly:D

Cast member to me, some distance heading away from Kali River Rapids: "Sir, you will have to put on your shirt. I know it is wet but..."

Was going to ride again except the line was quite long and I didn't have another fastpass ready to use.

what about the ladies? I thought it was inappropriate to walk around with just shorts/bikini top on? (although I see enough women doing it). Personally...I think they should have at least a tank top on over their swim top.

and of course - with little girls (toddlers) I think it's different...(wow i'm just full of double standard today)

really - i'm not a prude! I know *I* wouldn't subject anyone having to look at me in just shorts and a bikini top!

(psst...can't see your link)

That's interesting that a lot of people posted that River Rapids was their last ride of the day. We've always made it our first because we tend to dry off quicker while walking in the sun. We've never made it our last ride of the day because then we're chilly with less sun. And because of the heat, we almost don't mind staying wet (and we ALWAYS get soaked!)
