I have the 8.5 x 8.5 Seaglass album by K and Company. I know I wish to add more page protectors. I checked at J's today, but they didn't have any but wasn't sure if I should continue to check locally or just order on-line. Anyone buy these at their Michael's, AC Moore or Archivers?

Are the pages actually 8.5X 8.5? Or is the pocket part really 8X8 with a half inch tab that goes on the posts? Seems like nominal 8X8 of most any brand should fit it.

they are 8.5 x 8.5 AWM's circle journal is that size, I measured twice just to make sure.

Yes, they are 8.5" x 8.5"--the paper I have cut so far at that size fit just right. I think I will check at Michaels, and if they don't have them, then I will order on-line.

I got my refills at my LSS when I bought the albums.

I don't remember how much they were, but I could call tomorrow if you want.

PS- I picked them so you could take an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet and cut it down. Less waste then cutting a 12x12 because I didn't know you could buy 8x8 stacks at the time.

Archivers has this album, so they probably have the refills.

I found white refill pages at Michaels today, however the pages in the seaglass album I have are cream colored. Since I plan to fill the sleeve with a colored paper and the white wouldn't show, I thought it would look fine, but now I am thinking that you will see the differences from the sides, and I am not sure I like that.

So my choices are to keep looking for the cream, or replace all the pages with the white and save the cream to use in another book. This is my first scrapbook done totally on my own, and I kind of like the smaller sizes. The 12 x 12 size is still a bit intimidating to me, and the smaller ones don't scare me too much, so I bet I will do another one and will be able to use the cream pages.

I sure could. See how new to this I am, I figured that insert had a purpose of some kind, not sure what, but taking it out would be the easiest thing to do, wouldn't it?
