It so nice that you were able to visit Mel's grandfather. He must still be in fairly decent health living on his own still...my own heart aches a bit when I see my grandfather, missing his wife of 73 years now. I can just imagine how much fun it was for you all to visit, and Ana will have special memories of her great grandfather. How cool!

How especially nice to be able to go to the beach in March. Ana looks so happy there! I think you may have posted some of these when you were there on your MAW TR....I remember the Hello Kitty shirt ;-)

Ana's photo on the MAW site is so cute...and what a nice letter you wrote to them. I think its great for other MAW families also to see that healthy happy sweet face, to give a little hope too.

Re baby names.. I say Michael. My bro, grandfather, uncle and about 8 cousins are called michael and now my nephew and several of the second cousins are getting the name as well...

I just got the first of many loads of laundry in the washer and sat down with my Starbucks (Mark is off at a doublehead to ump this morning), and I thoght I'd check the DIS. So here I sit with tears rolling down my cheeks looking at our beautiful princess (you do realize that she is now "ALL" of ours!). I am truly amazed at what Make-A-Wish and Give the Kids does for children and I will definitely be making Give the Kids our annual Christmas donation in honor of our sweet princess.

That's a great idea for an annual Christmas donation!

There is a group of DIS Zetas who on their last trip together arranged a day for all of them to volunteer at GKTW. They found it very rewarding and lots of fun.

I think the name is going to be Christopher. We are still working on the middle name... it could be Michael or Joseph. I still like Peterson.

I need to get a side profile pic of Mel so you can see the bump.

If I would have been a boy I would have been Christopher Michael!!

And as I have mentioned before, Mel is truly one of the most beautiful pregnant women I've ever seen! She's radiant!

He had bi-pass surgery last summer after Mel's g-ma passed and has been doing well. It is tough on him being alone though. He really gets a kick out of seeing Juliana running around like a nut!

I have so many Michaels in my family too. I also have a few close friends named Michael we didn't want that as a first name but thought we could honor them using it as a middle name.

The Big Give choses families who are active posters here on the DIS. You can direct her to the disABILITIES board --> Make A Wish... Wish Trippers Unite thread. She can post any Disney questions and maybe help her start a PTR. The Big Give only selects families from the DIS.
