Hey everyone!!!

I've been trying to log on for over an hour and finally got on! LOL Have any of you been having trouble with the DIS lately? Anyway... hopefully I can get to an update!

Ok, so it wasn't just me that thought the DIS was sluggish last night then? Ugh, it took forever to load!!

Tim, I just had a thought! You could name your new little guy Christopher Timothy! Then his initials would be CT which is where you live. Cool, right?

Yea cool!

However, I'm still partial to Christopher Peterson. What names does Ana like??

Juliana wants Peterson for a first name... but I think she is getting used to Christopher.

Wednesday March 9th

When we woke up we were a little excited... today we were driving from Bradenton to Disney!! We packed our bags and I ended up making breakfast for everyone. It was going well until I dropped a whole bowl of uncooked scrambled eggs on the floor. Woops! After breakfast I loaded up the car and we hung out with Mel's grandfather.

We were going to leave before noon, but the space shuttle was going to be flying over Bradenton at 11:55. We thought it would be cool to try to see it. It was a partly cloudy day and we were hoping the big white puffy clouds weren't going to obscure our view. We we sitting outside waiting to see it. 11:54 came and went- so did 11:55, 11:56, 11:57. I went inside to check to see where the shuttle was. All of the sudden there were 2 loud bangs.. I ran outside and looked to the sky. Unfortunately, we didn't see the shuttle but we heard the sonic booms.

After our close encounter, it was time to say our final goodbyes.

We all had a great spending time with Melody's grandfather. But now it was time to make the drive to see the mouse! I wonder if we would of made it there any faster if we were driving this?

We made it to the highway and I had a decision to make... Tampa or Orlando?

We chose I4 towards Orlando. It wasn't long before we saw something familiar.

Then the sign we had been waiting for!

We made it from Bradenton to POP in 2 hours.. not too bad!

The girls went to the bathroom while I went to check in. I asked if it was possible to add another night onto our reservation. I was adamant that I was only interested if we didn't have to change rooms. The CM was typing away on her computer and made a few calls. After a few minutes she said it was possible and it would only cost us $1 more than moving to the other hotel I had booked for Sunday night. That sounded good to me! The check in process went smoothly and we were on our way to....

We had to check out the gift shop for a minute!

St. Patricks Duffys!

Puppy was just as happy as Juliana to be here!!!!

We pulled ourselves out of Everything POP and drove over to the 50's section to find our room.

I was on my way to catch up on your report, which I am woefully behind on.

Ahhh, seeing that sign NEVER gets old, does it?

I thought about keeping that picture out of the report... but that thought lasted 1.3 seconds.

Check Nasa's website to see when the official last launch is, maybe you guys can do a quick get away weekend to check it out. I am sure Ana would love to see it. http://www.nasa.gov/missions/highlights/schedule.html They've pushed Endeavour back to the 10th now, which I am bummed about, I have a wedding that I was going to politely crash (I got permission from the couple!! ) that day.

Can I tell you that on my way back from the S/D today I saw a minivan parked in the middle lane this afternoon trying to get that shot of the main gate. Yes, parked, the mother was standing outside the van taking a shot of the gate. DF and I couldn't believe that. She was really lucky that there was no traffic coming or that the cops weren't around.

Yeah that was an interesting car - was it a neighbor's or did you actually see it driving down the street? It looks like its parked in a driveway.

Well you never know, they may push it back that far. They've been pushing Endeavour back the past few days which is affecting Atlantis' launch - so maybe it'll be pushed into October.

Sorry, S/D is the Swan/Dolphin. I was there scoping out the place while attending a vow renewal.

I know, I couldn't believe she was stopped in the middle lane. I've seen them pull over to the shoulder but the middle?!? Aw, what a safe driver you are. Although you could be using the same main gate pic from your first trip and we wouldn't even know it.

Sorry about the egg drop, but how nice for Mel's grandfather to get his floor cleaned It's so wonderful that you were able to visit her grandfather as part of your vacation. Looks like you had a wonderful time there!

It was too cloudy from my house to see the shuttle too, but we stood out there trying to see it.

That car is interesting to say the least!

We've seen people do some really dumb things at those entrance signs too. Although it seems to be less now that they put up the new signs and posts to deter it.

So nice to see the Pop signs and the Everything Pop pics this morning. We are heading back to Pop for a stay soon! What was your favorite thing about Pop? How did you like staying in the 50's section?
