Hello again! :rotfl2:

I thought as I'd finally finished my Trip report AND as it is now less days until my next trip than it is since my last one (we got back 42 days ago and there are only 41 days until we go again!) I thought I would start my PTR!

So here we go!

The Cast:

The Chatterbox
IMAG0317.jpg

Name: Olivia
Age: 5
Likes: Talking, talking and talking some more!
Dislikes: Being told to stop talking!
Favourite DLP Ride: Star Tours
Least Favourite DLP Ride: Big Thunder Mountain
Favourite 'must see' character: Stitch!

The Mummy

Name: Helen
Age: 28 1/2
Likes: Anything pink!
Dislikes: When Olivia is naughty!
Favourite DLP Ride: Big Thunder Mountain
Least Favourite DLP Ride: Space Mountain (my poor ears always take a beating!)
Favourite 'must see' character: Any of the princesses.

And that is it! Just me and Olivia on this trip! :scared1::woohoo::scared1::woohoo::banana::scared1::woohoo::cool1::yay::scared1: <-- That sums up my emotions as I think about that!

The When:
Thursday 7th June 2012 for three nights.

The Where:
Sequoia Lodge

The How:
Getting Direct Eurostar there back!

The Why:
Although we only visited in March, I felt like we missed out on quite a lot of stuff because of all the closures. Plus I really, really, really want to see Dreams! So, we budgeted and worked out that if I take Olivia on my own, we could afford a small trip in June!

I shall be updating this with more details of my planning once I actually start planning it! The fact that I've not even started planning yet, is of concern to me!

You will have a wonderful time together. :cheer2: I took my elder DD (who is now nearly 12) when she was five. Unfortunately she was rather poorly while we were there so we didn't get too much done, but we still had a really nice time, just the two of us. :goodvibes

I'd love to have taken Abbey on her own when she was little. I think you'll have a fabulous time :thumbsup2

Look forward to hearing more of your plans :goodvibes

ull love it!!!!

this will b my 2nd time with just me n the boys (last time was april 2009 when they were 3 & 5) and im hopin this time will b easier :rotfl2:

ill def look out for u - think sat or sun my 2 will be dressed as princes so prob easy to spot!!

Would be nice to meet up :) Olivia will be dressed a princess most days (but then, as most girls are she won't be easy to spot! :rotfl:)

39 Days to go!

Yup, the countdown is already on in our house! :rotfl: Olivia and I are counting down until our trip and Andrew is counting down until he gets 4 days peace!

As our Eurostar leaves at 8.50am on Thursday 7th June, I am looking at hotels to stay at near to St. Prancras as I don't really fancy battling the met line during rush hour!

I've found what I think is a good price for the Travelodge King Cross - £80 for a twin room. :thumbsup2

I'll probably try and make a day of it up in London on the Wednesday -- just wish it could be Disney related but can't really think of anything that would tie in with Disney! (not like our March trip where we had Disney on Ice the day before!). Maybe we could do a tour of the Disney Stores of London! :rotfl:

38 Days to go!

I am trying to write a list of things that I didn't get to do in my March trip that are 'must dos' for this one. So far, I have:

POTC
Stunt Show
Alice's Curious Labyrinth
Dumbo Elephants
Auberge
Cowboy Cookout
Characters at DLH @ 4PM <-- do they still do this?
Princess Pavilion
Crushs' Coaster (depending on how brave DD is!)
Cafe Mickey for dinner

Oooh, I do love trip planning. It's almost as much fun as the trip itself! :rotfl:

It sounds like the planning is coming along nicely. :goodvibes I love the idea of a tour of the London disney stores but could you resist shopping? :rotfl2:

Your DD sounds like mine, wakes up talking, goes to sleep talking, talks in her sleep!!

How about a show? Is Lion King still on? Failing that Disney Store sounds fab! :goodvibes

It was still on when we were there in June, only on certain days though. They have a sign up near the bottom of the staircase usually.

I'm a planaholic myself - already planning our November trip & that's over 6 months away - I love it!! :bitelip:

Well, it would be rude not to stock on a few pre-trip goodies! :rotfl:

:rotfl2: as long as ou still have enough room for the holiday souvenirs ;)

4 Weeks to Go!

This time in 4 weeks I shall be sitting on a Eurostar train, ready to depart for the magic!

Feeling a bit flustered at the thought of that though, as I've hardly done any planning so far!

It's my Sister-in-law's Wedding on Saturday so I've been pretty busy getting everything ready for that! :thumbsup2

I did however manage to book up the Wild West show using the 30euro offer on Ticketnet, so we'll be doing that on our last night! :cool1:

The only other meal I have booked so far is the Auberge for our last lunchtime, so I still have a lot more to sort out!

I need to also book our Disney express so that we can get straight into the parks on our first day!

Arrgghhh so much to do and so little time! :rotfl:

What a busy few weeks, been preparing for my Sister In Law's Wedding, which took place on Saturday. It was a wonderful day, she looked absolutely stunning and the whole day was just perfect.

Thought I'd share a picture from the day, here is DF (An Usher), DD (Chief Flowergirl and me.

Now that the wedding is over :( I am finally starting to get my head around this trip! First task, sort out my meals! :thumbsup2

So far I'm looking at:

I am still not 100% sure though, so going to have a think and then try and ring to make some reservations by the end of the week! :)

Oh, that's a lovely picture  DD is indeed a little princess :goodvibes

I think your meals look good - just beware that some CS places were closed this week when we went, eg Toad Hall. We were right in the mood for fish and chips as well :rotfl2:

What a lovely picture. :goodvibes The meals look good too.

Thanks - we had such a lovely day. We were SO lucky with the weather.

Can't believe it's just over three weeks until our trip, the nerves are starting to kick in now. Olivia is a typical 5 year old, as in when she's good she's really really good but when she's bad she's horrid! :rotfl:

Just hope that i don't have horrid Olivia while we are away!!

:lmao:

Less than three weeks to go and I'm feeling SO disorganised!

Still haven't finalised my meal plans, still haven't booked Disney Express, still haven't bought a new suitcase, etc....

I have made one decision though, I am NOT going to be taking a buggy for Olivia. I'll probably live to regret this, but after seeing how well she coped last Saturday at the wedding (she was up from 8am - 10.30pm), I think she'll cope ok at Disney, too (that's tempted fate now hasn't it?!) :rotfl:

My meal plan has changed slightly to what I posted before.. this is my current plan:

Lunch Dinner
Thursday Cowboy Cookout - 2pm Beavers Creek - 8pm
Friday Walts - 2pm Cafe Mickey - 8pm
Saturday Blue Lagoon - 1pm Wild West Show 6.30pm
Sunday Auberge -1pm n/a

6 days to go!

Can't believe we'll be there this time next week!

I've had a lot going in at home so haven't been able to plan as much as I would have liked, but I have at least managed to get the main things done!

My meals are all booked and look like this:

Thursday

Lunch - Cowboy Cookout
Dinner - Cafe Mickey

Friday

Lunch - Walts
Dinner - Inventions

Saturday

Lunch - EOS
Dinner - WWS

Sunday

Lunch - Auberge

I am still yet to receive my shiny shareholder's card :guilty: but I rung them yesterday and they said it was posted out last week so I'm holding out hope that it will arrive either tomorrow or Wednesday! Failing that, I have my temporary card to use! :thumbsup2

I also spent much of this evening writing a rough plan for the trip.. including the proposed DIS meetup on the Friday!

I haven't even begun thinking about what to pack, but as I have no more work before I go, I should have enough time to get that sorted! :woohoo:
