Just Saved over $400 using Disney gift cards purchased at Target!

Thanks namaste oh did you mean call target redcard or your bank?
I know my credit union has a $1000 per day limit on my debit transactions, so I'll have to call them to release the limit ahead of time. May have to call redcard too. Probably will just to be safe. Whether the 20% coupon works or not, I'll be buying what I need that day - even if it's only the 5% +5%.

Just received my first pharmacy reward yesterday and was surprised to see one for online and one for instore. Bought (3) disney cards on line and was having problem using the "online" rewards number. Called customer service while still waiting to submit the order. She spent over 10 min. attempting to make it work and then told me to submit the order and call back after 30 min she gave me a reference # and told me to given that # to the customer service agent and they would manually apply the 5%. To my surprise when I called back, the agent not only gave me the 5% but without even asking, added another 5% for my "trouble". Never expected that, was only looking for the 5%. Awesome customer service from Target.

For future reference, the pharm rewards code isn't supposed to/will not work on gift cards bought online,

I googled 'Target 20% off storewide' and did find lots of sites indicating Target will be handing the coupons out on Black Friday. It sounds like you'll get it once you check out and I think one site mentioned it will start on Thursday at 8pm.

My dilemma is I'm in Canada but only 2 hrs away from a US Target so I could potentially go down to see if I can get my hands on one or two if none of my friends are going down but I'm more concerned with the store running out of stock on the cards since we are flying out of Syracuse on the 7th, which is the last day of the promo.

Does anyone know if this 20% discount is available for online shopping?
TIA

You can with the Red Card and the Pharmacy rewards coupon [see every single Target thread on this board]. According to Target's classification system, "gift cards" are Target cards and prepaid Visa & AmEx cards. All the other cards they sell for other vendors (including Disney) are classified as "entertainment cards" and the discounts work on them. This is why the DIS is so Target obsessed!

Occasionally there have been instances where some Target coupons/discounts don't work on the Disney cards, so it remains to be seen what will happen with this Black Friday coupon. So it's going to be a wait & see thing.

Don't tell me there's a chance the disney cards may be excluded.:worried:

I did call customer service before I even I placed the order to verify that in fact I could buy gift cards online. Received (2) pharmacy rewards papers in the same envelope - (1) for in store and (1) stating "Now get rewards online, too."
Enter this code at checkout to get 5% off an entire purchase at Target.com
Pharmacy Rewards clearly written printed on the paper.
Not sure if this is new or just spoke to (3) different people not familiar will the
fact that gift cards not being able to work online (?).
But thank you for the heads up.

Through my google search, the coupon states that it cannot be used on "gift cards" and that the 20% off cannot be used with any other storewide coupon, so... that might mean you cannot use the pharmacy awards :(

I only found info this on coupon websites, nothing from Target directly. Plus gift cards usually means Target or Visa. We will have to wait and see...whoever gets the coupon first, please paste it in this thread so folks don't go crazy. Lol

I wonder how many of these 20% coupons will they hand out. Especially if they're handing the out at 8 PM Thanksgiving night. I'm not giving up on Thanksgiving dinner for a 20% off coupon. I don't have a Disney trip planned in the near future, so I wouldn't get many Disney cards anyway.

Unfortunately, Apple is excluded from the Dec. 1-7 20% off coupon.

Exclusions: Gift cards, iTunes cards, Apple, Bose, ALL video games, PlayStation 4 consoles, Xbox One consoles, Target Mobile, prescriptions, optical, clinic, and alcohol purchase.

Cannot be combined with other storewide or category/department coupons.

Valid in store only.

So the way I understand this is it will be good on entertainment cards (Disney cards) but I can not combined the pharmacy reward??? will the redcard discount still apply for a total of 25% off?? Can anyone clear this up? Tia

I read it the same way. No stacking with pharmacy but red card should be fine. My only fear is that they consider them gift cards and not entertainment cards. I'm planning to buy about 55 of them so I'm praying it works!!!
