Just wanted to share a bit of what we did this past week. It was purely Magical and a fantastic trip!
Magical Express was superb! We landed at MCO at 9:15am and we were at The Contemporary by 10:30. Our luggage arrived to our room by 1:00. I can't say enough great things about ME.
We also took advantage of Resort Airline Check-in. It took only 5 minutes & I highly recommend it to anyone.
The Contemporary, IMHO, is the best resort ever!! Check-in was a breeze, the CM were great and our room was just perfect! We were in the Tower, MK view, 7th floor. Our view was heavenly and the room itself was fantastic. Very nice, large enough for 3 women and clean!! Also, transportation at the CR was the best. We never had to wait for a bus or Monorail. And the walk to & from the MK was so nice!
Mousekeeping was great and our room was cleaned every day by
1:00. They left us extra towels, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, etc. I cant say enough about them!
DDP was super easy and enough food for us! We never had a bad meal and the service was great. We ate at: Trail's End, Casey's Corner, Cantina de San Angel, Cosmic Ray's, Restaurant Marrakesh, 'OHana, Kona Cafe, Peco's Bills, Columbia Harbor House, Sci-Fi Restaurant, & Concourse Steakhouse.
Parks were crowded, more than I had ever experienced. BUT, we arrived very early, used Fastpass, did attractions during Parades & we got to ride everything we wanted with little to no wait! We had a plan every morning and stuck to it!
Castmembers were super! My sister and I celebrated our birthday while in WDW. We wore our Birthday buttons proudly and got some sweet "extras" for being the birthday girls! We both got free dessert at almost every restaurant, free champagne & pictures (taken by CM of me, my sis and Mom) at Concourse Steakhouse, a ride in the front of the Monorail, 2 special Tinkerbell pins, a B-day phone call from Goofy, tons of Happy Birthdays and a few Happy Birthday cards from CM's. We had a great Birthday and the little extra touches made turning 34 Magical!
While at DHS, we won Dream Fastpasses! How exciting!
We all had such a Magical time while in WDW!
It was so nice to spend it with my Mom and sister. We had the best of everything: Magical view, best resort, best food, fun together in the parks. I can't wait to do it all again!
