I think the most frightening look I have ever seen on a human face was the day that Nancy, sweet and even tempered DW, found neatly folded clean clothes dumped in the hamper because the kids did not want to put their clothes away in the bureau. Seems kind of funny like an old Bill Cosby skit now, but at that one moment in time was scary. I thought we were going to lose one of 'em

My kids (the older 2) tried to pull that on me once... I made them take eveything out of the hamper, rewash it, run it through the dryer, fold it and put it away and THEN they had to do the rest of the laundry as well... that was the last time they put the clean clothes in the hamper... they still wont put the dirty clothes in htere though which I dont get... but I told them as of yesterday- if the clothes dont make it into the hamper they dont get washed... I have put my foot down... we'll see how it goes...

Wow! Who needs to spend money on therapy when you can come here to vent and get all this great advice! Hey, just more money that can be saved for yet another trip to The Fort!

I am just so glad that my kids are not the only ones who do stuff like that. And Bill Cosby was so right.....they all have Dain Bramage!! So you really can't be mad at them, it's not their fault, they just can't help it!

Unfortunately that only works when they are younger, when they get older, they just look at you like "so" and put on the dirty stuff.

Man, I have been there! IIRC it was over the laundry too!

Unfortunately that only works when they are younger, when they get older, they just look at you like "so" and put on the dirty stuff.

2 of mine are currently at this stage....we refuse to wash there clothes. They are 17&19 for craps sake..they can wash there own...but I saw my 17yr old wearing the nastiest, stained up work shirt uniform yesterday!! I told her I will NEVER eat at the restarant she works at with her being that gross....she said "I wear an apron over it...no one can see the stains!"

Hey! I won somethin'!! I have been known to pick up toys, clothes, etc. and put them in the trunk of my car until they can "bail them out" with extra chores I hate to do.
