Just curious, after seeing the opening day prices (some b2b at over $10,000), etc., are most of you keeping the reservation? We're not happy with any of the pricing, nor the WBTA itinerary (which costs more than this year's WBTA), so I don't think we're keeping any of the quotes we got! The 6-night Bermuda out of NYC is $1,400 more than we paid for 7-nights on NCL.I don't think I'm ever going to get to use my platinum benefits

ok both phone lines are busy for me... anyone getting through?
This is the first time that Silver CC members have been able to book ahead of the general public and before they could be booked online. I'm guessing that has to factor into these crazy wait times, along with the new itineraries. I know this has been said many times before on these boards, but I'm going to throw it out one more time. It's just ridiculous that a company with Disney's ingenuity and technical savvy cannot develop a system where CC club members can book online based on their status. I just don't get it. It can't be any more fun for the CM's on the other end of the phone than it is for the customers (and poor TA's) sitting on hold for 2 hours just to book a cruise.
They offered a lot of discounts on the NewYork cruises last year and then actually lowered the prices this year. Wrong time of year? Or the itinerarys? I would think Bermuda and Quebec would be very popular as long as they don't price it too high. You know it will be higher then their competitors, but hopefully not crazy since it is off season and hurricane season. I'm hoping they keep sailing to Bermuda since I plan on booking the WBTa on Monday. I would love to do a Bermuda cruise sometime.
I was checking prices and cabins for the 10/13/18 6 night Bermuda yesterday and the prices were reasonable (I thought) but there is hardly any availability!!!! I am kicking myself for not booking when Platinum could. I was shocked to see so few cabins left on that sailing.
That one in particular seems to be popular.

She probably meant for a DCL cruise it was reasonable. I don't think you can ever say it's reasonable up against another cruiseline. I also thought it was "reasonable" for DCL. I mean some of their cruises cost more then a new car those are the ones I just shake my head at.We booked at platinum and were not impressed with the prices at all for Bermuda. Better pricing (for us) on other cruise lines for sure![]()

MJ you know that new itineraries always get the most attention. Sorry if you missed out, but keep checking in case people drop their bookings.
Understandable, I'm paying 1323 pp for our Alaska cruise in Sept. I'm sure I could do better then that on another cruiseline and possibly with a balcony, but for Disney I thought it was reasonable a price. I feel the same about our wbta next year. We still like DCL and if I can find cruises that are within my price range I'll choose DCL and try not to compare prices with the competitors. There are some itinerarys that I know I'll be sailing on someone else because DCL is just way way out of my comfort zone.Considering I paid $2300 pp for a 7 day Fantasy last summer I thought $1500 pp was reasonable!!!
