NCL's is a round trip (and 3 nights longer) which means no airfare for us as we can easily drive to NYC from PA, but I need to check out those other Quebec ports DCL has on their itinerary.

That WBTA looks intriguing as well.

Thats basically "my backyard"... not the best the Oregon Coast has to offer (Portlanders usually hit up Cannon Beach or Seaside) but I'll take it. Either road trip or be on it for funsies. :3

I know actually getting into Astoria can be an issue. We stopped there on our Princess cruise a couple of years ago. I liked it.

I'm guessing - just a guess here - that the Bermuda (and possibly the Quebec) itineraries are testing the waters for possibly a more year-round presence out of NYC once the new ships are here. Especially with the routes they already have to Florida and Castaway. That is what NCL and RCCL do - at least Bermuda and Florida/Bahamas routes.

IF this comes to pass, it will make me one happy, happy girl!!

I thought the same thing! I don't live in Oregon but I have a ton of family there so I'm very familiar with the Oregon Coast. LOL
