Just how busy/crowded is a level "8" day?

Title kinda says it all. We're going end of June, so it's predicted to be 8s all week when we're there. I'm just curious... what does that really mean? What does it look like/feel like? Anyone have photos from level 8 days?

I don't have pictures for you, but I describe the "feel" as very full but manageable: you'll be able to walk around but there will always be someone beside/behind/in front of you. Some places the walkways will be jammed and you'll have to wait to get through a tight area. Counter service places will be pretty full - if you eat at peak times, you'll have a long line and may have to search a bit for a table; at off times there will be some line and full seating, but less "hunting" for tables. Early park hours and late just before closing will still have the shortest waits for rides, but the lines may build more quickly in the morning than on a slower day. Second-tier rides will of course be shorter waits than headliners, but I would expect at least a little wait on everything - no walk-ons except very early and very late. If you're using resort buses, expect to wait for the second one many times (and be pleasantly surprised when you get on the first one)

An 8 is very busy, especially for the most popular attractions. I don't have photos, but typically you can get around the parks pretty well, but lines are long. The parades and fireworks will be tight. It is manageable though and I would suggest getting to the parks at rope drop when the crowds are lower and use FP+ for the most popular must do's.

On days at 7/8 crowd levels, we typically go at RD and ride what we can in the morning before it starts eating really busy(usually round 11AM or so the crowds get building). Then we will head out of the parks around noon/1, have lunch and rest back at the resort. We will then head back to the parks after 5PM, hoping the crowds have thinned or will thin out as the day gets later. Use FP to book the must do's you will not get to between opening and 10AM and you should be OK. Plan to wait in some lines, but try to choose the ones that move quickest.

We are going spring break March 26th thru April 3rd. Our days will be 8's and 9's. :thumbsup2 LOL However we have done this before and we usually go in the summer and we have 4 Thanksgiving weeks under our belts too. ROPE DROP IS YOUR FRIEND. EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM. SLEEPING IN NOT AN OPTION. :crowded: Get my drift. :rotfl2: We still have a great time. By rope drop I mean..... get to the parks a good 20-30 min. before opening. Parks usually OPEN before opening time  PLAN PLAN PLAN, take a break mid day, go back in the evenings. We plan on using our FP's in the evening and trying to ride as much as possible in the morning. HAVE A GREAT TRIP.
